You have a choice, either bring the IRS 1040 or if it is not available then get the tax transcript. You do not need both. Are you using the Embassy Letter as suggested? That question is answered there. Just bring only the documents that are on the Embassy Letter for USEM. Nothing more or nothing less. Now having said that, we always carried ever single piece of paper for this process with us but only gave what was required. At the interview nothing more had to be taken from our "reserve" paper documents, but it gave us a sigh of relief knowing it was there with us if needed.

Yes using the k1/k2'guide from US Embassy Manila. Ok then, i will stick to that. Haven't read about transcripts there only tax returns, w2 and 1040 so I was alarmed. I plan to get everything from my fiance when I visit this month just wanna make sure I ask for everything. :) thanks for your usual response greenbaum

It seems that RFE reviews are taking much longer for me. They received my Letter of Intent 9 days ago but I haven't received any news of NOA2 approval yet. Looking through other RFE cases here for July Filers and VJ in general, it seems that applicants with RFE gets approved after 5-7 days. I'm worried. :(

It's "Letter of Intent" from my fiancee. I'm just assuming that due to the long weekend, that they are a bit slower than usual in replying back. I'm just worried to be receiving another RFE.

I'm hoping that they won't ask for anything else. But in their notification, it states "We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you."

Don't be worried. Your still in the window for adjudication. They just havn't gotten to your file yet. You'll hear something soon, I am sure.

Normally, they will go through your entire submission and process everything they can. The items that they can't process is those that get RFE's. Yes, they normally send out one RFE for everything they need on your first submission. I find there are not a lot of third chances so it is imperative that you answer with detail and exactly what they are asking for. This is your chance to shine.
