finished DS260 today hope my data wont be lost ???

I was fortunate to call this morning and spoke to an agent who confirmed my case and gave me numbers but also advised system would be down and visa would not be forwarded to Bogota until late next week at the earliest.

I paid iv fee by mailed but it wouldnt update as paid. I decided to pay only again on Monday (june 29) and was able to fill out DS260 on wednesday but just finished and submitted on thursday (july 2) around 4pm.

Will you be getting a refund? You already paid $650 by mail. I just hope that the system took the DS260 applications for your parents. The system was offline at 330 pm. I read the bulletin posted. They will not be able to update or make any changes once the system goes offline.

I really hope so thats what im worried about and yes I would have to deal with the refund later... I did save all evidence that I paid IV fee twice.

Worse comes to worse if they didnt get my DS260 I would just have to do it again.. I printed out all questions and answers, At least it'd save me a lot of time.

yeah i clicked pay now and it led me to the page where it showed 325 i checked the box and clicked pay then it asked me to put bank account#

We are stuck at the NVC for a month and half now! ( re-submitted because of checklist- our documents were misplaced) Hoping NVC doesn't screw up the second time too ! This process is way too long !

Omg you guys!.........it says N/A under the AOS fee could this be it???? You think it could finally be a "case complete"???

hey guys you should go check CEAC again,
i think the system is working now and I've just done filling out DS-260 FINALLY!

in fact, we hv been stuck there since FEB, it's not MAY
i believe i was the very first people who encountered the 'technical problems'
and rep from NVC didn't even know what was going on and passed our case to a supervisor who of cuz provided no help on this.

anyway, good luck everyone and hope things will get better and better
