I just want to congratulate everyone on their approvals and interview date and for some of us still waiting it will be all over before years end. I had my interview this afternoon and I was approved on spot. I now wait again for the GC to arrive in the mail. And thanks to this forum for all the assistance and everyone for sharing their experiences. Good luck to all and keep holding the faith. ?????

07/15/15 Text and email confirmation

07/21/ 15 Received hard copies of Notice of Action

07/24/15 Biometric Appointment notice for 08/06/15

08/06/15 Biometric completed at Hialeah field office

08/13/15 Online Status RFE sent off today's date

08/18/15 RFE received Sponsor don't meet poverty guideline

08/25/15 Respond to RFE with Job Letter and 9 months pay stubs

08/26/15 RFE delivered and signed for

08/27/15 Online Status RFE received etc..

09/15/15 Called USCIS about EAD/AP and was told I had to summit the applications over because they can't be found.

09/16/15 Sent off package to Chicago Lockbox

09/16/15 Online status Case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview

09/17/15 EAD/AP delivered to Chicago Lockbox and signed for again

09/22/15 Online status interview schedule for Oct0ber 23, 2015.

09/24/15 Interview notice in hand dated Sept 18, 2015.

10/23/15 Interview done took about 5mins but wasn't approved because of incomplete medical form.

10/23/15 Request For Evidence #2 delivered to me by I/O.

10/26/15 Received text/email I-130 approved on 23/10/15 and a notice mailed.

10/30/15 Received I-130 Approval Notice.

11/05/15 Delivered my RFE at Hialeah Field Office

11/06/15 Received text/email stating New Card Is Being Produced.

11/13/15 Online status show: On Nov 13, 2015 we mailed your New Card, for receipt number ****to address you gave us.

11/16/15 Green Card in my hand

Congrats.... long overdue. I saw post where person when immediately and never got through and some said that its safe to go 1-2wks after card production date. If the place is nearby go ahead try your luck and remember to take all the original relevant documents.

I know ! Thanks. Well the original production date was Nov 10th . So I guess a week has gone by . We'll wait till Monday to be safe

Hi everyone! Congrats to all the recent approvals!!! I've got my interview on Monday and I'm a bit worried. My husband and I don't have much proof. We've been married for almost 5 years now. But all I've got for the interview are pictures, utility bills, a lease, and we've got a 6 year old son. I'm worried that it won't be enough!!

We received a letter about 4 weeks ago, saying that our interview is waived and that we should expect to hear from them in about

6 months, due to them being so busy. Two days ago, I received the approval and now my card is in the mail :) That went way faster

than expected!

After receiving a text that my card was delivered I went to check my mail box and guess what I am Officially Permanent Resident :joy::joy: :joy: :joy::joy::joy: GREEN CARD in my hand!!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Congrats on the new approvals. I just got a text from the USCIS this morning and my interview is scheduled for December 22nd. However, sadly I found out my wife cheated on me a week ago and I told her to move out of the house. Now I don't even know if I still can pursue this. Any advice on how to pursue this without her? Bottom line is that I'm just gonna go with my employment green card petition, which probably takes another year. Thanks for any input.

-July 28th, 2015 (day 1) - package mailed.

-July 29th, 2015 (day 2) package delivered.

-August 3rd, 2015 (day 7): E-notification received.

-August 5th, 2015 (day 9): checks cashed.

-August 7th, 2015 (day 11): USCIS check case status shows the cases on their website.

-August 8th, 2015 (day 12): Hard copies of I-797C for I-130 and I-485.

-August 24th, 2015 (day 28): Biometrics done (1 day early walk in).

-August 26th, 2015 (day 29): Request for evidence (RFE1)

-August 29th, 2015 (day 32): RFE received in the mail asking for my tax return information.

-August 31st, 2015 (day 34): Mailed RFE response.

-Sept 1st, 2015 (day 35): RFE delivered.

I'm really so sorry about your experience. But my advice is to try to set it up with your wife. It also depends on your visa status you came to the US. If you do not show up on the interview your EAD benefits will be revoked and if you do not have a legal right to stay here as student visa or something like it you should leave the country. Green card through employment is a painstaking process and normally you file for H1B April 1st (in case you find a job, who can sponsor you for H1B)

Thanks for your response. I came to the US on student visa 10 years ago. But, now I'm on H1B visa. And my employer started filing for my green card back in May this year. But, since I got married I thought this would be faster. And so I filed for the marriage based green card. So I have 2 petitions going on at once. My employment green card is still a long way to go. Probably another year. It's such a pain to wait any longer. But, again finding out what my wife did was even more painful. I just thought if I could go through the interview without her that'd be great. I have evidence that she cheated. I'm still considering my options. Thanks for any advice.
