Anybody here had interview in Hialeah/had interview schedule, I want to have an idea how long it takes for an interview to be schedule.

No texts or e-mail, I've just checked an USCIS site as I do at least five times every day and

Got our interview hard copy. I was wondering those who have already done the interview, did you take all current stuff or did you take copies of what you submitted (for the pay stubs, employer letter, etc.) thank you for your time

Being in Tampa, I've been paying attention on this thread for other Florida people. Haven't seen anyone else in Hialeah.

Ok... Thank you I have been trying to find person in Hialeah on 3 different forums for July but seems no one is around or they too busy to post... How is Tampa timeline going so far?

It's been fine so far. We had an RFE, but it only delayed things slightly. But Tampa seems to have quite a backlog of cases, so it might be a while before our interview. According to the USCIS site, as of July 31st, they're on applications received as of January 17th. Soooo.... I'm not holding my breath, lol.

I asked my husband to get a couple of most recent pay stubs just to show he is still working at the same place, and I decided not to renew anything else on the list since we submitted everything already and had no RFE for any of that, not to mention it has been only 2 months between us submitting and the interview. The only other thing I did is I went to the bank and asked for a letter with their official header that stated we have two joint accounts. Like I said earlier the officer didn't even look at our papers, but it doesn't mean your officer won't.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to know, has all July filers already received their biometrics appointment? I've sent mine last 27th of July. And up until now has still not received anything. I had called USCIS regarding this four times. The first time, I was answered by a nice Asian lady (she sounded like she came from Vietnam) and helped me through the process and told me that she will make a followup for my Biometrics. And thenf or my second and third time, I was answered by 2 different women quite rudely. They basically told me I just needed to wait. And about a week and a half ago, I called again for a followup and this guy was really helpful and checked the progress. Only to tell me that my case has already been assigned to a caseworker but until then that person had not touched my file, and he can't do anything as I have to wait for until the end of September to make another followup with the USCIS. I kept checking USCIS to see if there has been any progress but until now nothing. It still says the same old thing that they have received "my Fingerprint fee" and that they've mailed a notice. That is all. This is really depressing me. I'm sorry to be such a wet towel.

Is anyone in the same predicament as me? Can't I really not do anything except wait??

Hello , it's ok to be sad I would be too . When I filed my K-1 visa something similar happened where nothing was done for over 2 months . What I did was contact a congressman in my area and he helped me . Lawyers are expensive so that's why I went to a congressman who did it for free and was super nice . Calling USCIS some times doesn't do anything because all they do is read a screen

I had a RFE also plus mix up with my EAD/AP still haven't received them. I had to file them over after 2 1/2 months of waiting for the cards because USCIS for some reason saying it cant be found so I am basically back square one. Seems like most field offices are back logged, I hope I get an interview real soon.

We did biometrics a 2 weeks ago, and my husband said that when he was doing the fingerprints the lady said that he would need to come back in a month to pick up [something, he's not sure what]. I didn't overhear what the lady said from my spot in the waiting room. He was a little stressed and did not hear what she said clearly.

Do we need to go back in? I thought that they would mail his authorization of employment and travel permit within 90 days (hopefully sooner) after the biometrics.

Hey all, last Friday my case was updated to:

"On September 18, 2015, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by October 18, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

When do I receive the tracking number? Do you think I get the card this week? I start a job next Monday.
