The funny thing is if they start approving eads for july I will not know mine until I receive the card itself in the mail..lol..

Still can't track my case online..

you should give a call to USCIS regarding that problem, they should be able to fix it.

online case status should be in the database as soon as you receive NOA1

No USCIS is not able to fix it.

You have to allow 45 days from receipt date.

The online case status has not been working for some time now for some people.

They are having issues with their site.

Only after the 45 days will they do something about it. What will they do? Likely tell you to wait 30 more days.

Strange. I was able to check and add all of my cases to myUSCIS the same day i got my NOA1 in the mail.

I did notice that they changed the website directory a week ago maybe they are trying to work out all the kinks.

We are a little concerned. We filed for our AOS/EAD/AP on July 1st. I had my biometrics appointment on July 30th. But we have not heard anything from them, either via email or regular mail.

Checking the status online, it says:

Regarding AOS: On July 2, 2015, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Regarding EAD and AP: On July 1, 2015, we received your Form X-XXX, Application for XXXXXXXXXXXXX , Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case.

No other updates since that time. Should we worry about this?

I honestly have a couple of job offers waiting for me, and our economic situation is difficult (she had to change jobs and her paycheck is coming really late), so we could really use our EAD right now.

Any opinions on this?

Almost in same boat with you even though I didn't submit same time as you.

I need to start working asap and I requested for expiditing my EAD but haven't heard from them after I fax the additional information they requested.

I don't know how long wait after faxing the documents across to uscis

We filed our AOS/EAD/AP on June 25th, and still haven't heard anything. As Punchy said, we probably won't hear anything for another week or so. Seems like mostly early and mid June filers have been receiving approvals this week.

If processing is under normal times you can expect getting EAD and AP in about 90 days. More patience is needed guys.

I knew they wouldn't be able to fix the problem.. I was just wondering what the excuse of the day is..... lol.

The USCIS customer service don't know anything about the application or procedures in which the I485 are adjucated. They read informtion from a screen and only knows what it tells them.

Nor are they able to give immigration advice.

Your joint sponsor will need to provide a photo copy of their original birth certificate or passport to prove citizenship.

Thanks a lot. We expect my father-in-law to be a joint sponsor. He doesn't have a passport but birth certificate. Hence, I thought that he needs to submit the original copy of his birth certificate. My husband thou insists that it's not necessary and a photocopy works also well. So I decided to call the customer service and was shocked how competent are workers there.

Feel bad for your experience, and this is too much, can't stand on that. Which level of Rep you talked to? Tier 1 is what we called interns, normally what they can give you is please wait X-numbers of days USCIS would take up to that X-numbers of days, secondly they just read the bullet points off the screen.

Try to ask for Tier 2 Rep, they usually could provide you more info but you will feel the attitude and feels like you own them money or what. I have tried both.

Hanging tied, there is always a solution but with a different formula. Good luck!

I understand how you feel... an automated system could do what most of them do, sadly. Sometimes they purposely don't answer the question because the info. can be found on the website. Also, when submitting documents, its always photocopies unless USCIS asks you specifically to send an original copy of a certain document.

The info. below is an extract from the I-864 Instructions at http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf

"Copies. You may submit legible photocopies of documents requested, unless the Instructions specifically state that you must submit an original document. USCIS may request an original document at the time of filing or at any time during processing of an application, petition, or request. If you submit original documents when not required, the documents may remain a part of the record, and USCIS will not automatically return them to you."

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Resources/A4en.pdfshows documents you can submit to prove citizenship

GOOD LUCK DARLING... I HOPE EVERYTHING GOES QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY FOR YOU ! :)
