Received our RFE . They are asking for 3 things

1- the joint sponsors proof of citizenship (easy)

2- proof of income of joint sponsor.. It says we sent proof of how much they make but no proof of actual income ... Not sure what that means but we'll send off pay stubs and bank statements and employment letter

3-according to submitted documents , joint sponsor income isn't above 125% poverty . To either show that person does or get a new joint sponsor

My mom is his sponsor, so we are going to get everything as quick as possible ... But idk why they say she's under poverty because she's not

For your proff of income they require your tax documentation for 2014 and last 6 months of paystubs to show actual income.

The I864 may have just been flled out incorrectly. If your mother is his co-sponsor make sure that it shows that correct number of people she is financially responsible for.

Also, anyone she claims on her taxes as dependents must be included in this total.

Did you get all 3 hard copies, cuz I remember you said you got only 2 electronic ones?

got the 3 hard copies too! seems like USCIS timelines are processing june filers! hope everything will turn out right for all of us for their 3months estimate timeline processing.

My mom is our joint sponsor and she has my brother and sister as dependants . But one of my sister works full time but still doesn't make enough to be dependent .... So when she files taxes , she puts my sister as partially dependant

July 22 2015 Sent AOS packet I-[130, 485 & 765] via Fedex

July 24 2015 Delivered 10am and signed for

July 30 2015 Cash cleared and received NOA-1 via email

Aug 03 2015 Received NOAs for I-[130, 485 & 765] through mail

Aug 07 2015 Received Bio metrics appointment letter through the mail for the 20th of AUG

Aug 20 2015 Bio metrics Appointment done!

The odds unfortunately were not in my favor. I've got RFE on the 19th. So waiting for the explanation letter now. I kind of knew this gonna happen. My husband and I didn't attach the copy of his tax return for the last year, because he spent last year with me in China and the income didn't meet the required poverty lever, so he didn't file for it.

I'm pretty sure DHS will ask for the co-sponsor, which we don't have. Otherwise we would include him\her prior to send the case out.

So what we did, we attached explanation IRS letter, where we explained the lack of tax returns and apparently it was not enough for them. Well, can't blame uscis for it.

So, right now we are frustrated and trying to find anybody who could be my co-sponsor.

I am fairly certain that she would have to be listed as a dependant.

So with your siblings and spouse she would have a household of 4

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that. Sounds like the AOS may have been better if it was postponed.

Hey, I was way worry more than you fo before my RFE letter came in. I even almost missed out for what they were asking for in the contents because I was very nervous BUT alas, it wasn't what I was thinking of ... it was a little fix and thanks for all members on this forum nd visajourney who helped me decipher what they were requesting for... it saved me a $1k lawyer was charging me.

All in all, relax and get the mail first, then u can move on from there ... cheers
