Checked our case status and apparently we were sent an RFE today . Wonder what it is. We'll be ready

I find it weird that the RFE is being sent now after biometrics... Has anyone had this happen before

We got a GC case status update in the e-mail today:

On August 11, 2015, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSC*******. Your interview is on September 15, 2015.

YAY!!!!

NOA1 was July 6 & then we received 2 biometrics letters. One for Aug 3 & Aug 7. RFE Aug 11 ..But the RFE seems to be for the green card.... Case status for EAD is the same

there is nothing weird that you've got RFE right after biometrics, moreover everyone can receive during the whole process. It's up to them,what they want to request. Really sorry that it happened to you, hope it's nothing serious. I also thought that you receive RFE within one month after NOA1, but apparently it absolutely on them, when to send it.

Hope your RFE come soon and hope it easy piece that they need,

I got my biometric done yesterday. Tons of ppl there , I got there 50 mins early but still have to waited one hour and a half until my turn. Took only 5 mins to do a ngerprint and photo shoot. ( I was thought it gonna be quick since everyone seems get it done quick)

But finally everything done!

Many thanks CathyCNC. I did mine at Atlanta Georgia and no much people in so I guess that was why it was faster.

I do hope the RFE should be a little fix.

Pls do anymone have an idea if RFE will delay EAD processing?

Pray to God it is . We sent everything that I know of ... I feel it might be something that shows we live together ... Like bank statements or taxes or lease... Idk . We'll see

Yeah the RFE is on the i-485 cos the status of EAD is still the same. I hope and pray so that ot doesn't affect it

My RFE is also on the I-485 .. My case status looks the same for EAD too . Good luck
