And congrats to all those whose cases have been moving along without any snags and for the others we just have to be patient and faithful, personally I'm a bit neurotic so if I wasn't distracted by other things in my life I would b a wreck! I thought I was the most patient person EVER until I started this process. Good luck to everyone for this too shall pass

So, I just received my RFE saying I need to hand in proof of citizenship of my co-sponsor. I just took a look at my copy of the package

and I did send in a certified copy my mother-in-laws birth certificate.

Do you guys think they lost it and I should just obtain a new certified copy and send it in? She does not have a passport, as she has never

travelled outside the United States.

Thanks for any input.

Probably. They wanted proof of my husband's Visa, despite the I-94 from his passport that was in our packet.

Or try to call and see if there's something else they want?

Thanks for your help. I just called and she told me to follow the instructions in the RFE.

Oh well, I am happy it's an easy fix and nothing bad. I'll get a new certified copy

and send it out tomorrow, as it's a holiday today in Rhode Island.

Yay! However I read that our wait time for interview is like 7-8 months. BUMMER! But that doesn't bother me though.
