I've got my biometrics appointment letter today, the appointment time is not quite convenient, so I'll try to reschedule it for the next day or so.

and yeah... my local DHS office is not in Kansas City as I thought, but in St. Luis, so unexpected

I just got my biometric appointment letter yesterday, schedule for 8/10/15

My timeline is

July 15th - sent out AOS Package

July 17th - Package delivery

July 22nd - received text notification

July 23rd - check has been clear

July 30th - NOA1 hard copy arrived

July 31th - Biometric appointment letter arrived!

Yeah, no point getting stressed till we actually get the RFE letter in our hands. Do you know if this delay has an impact on processing the 131?

I don't believe so. We just had our biometrics appointment for the EAD, so I believe its separate. When I look at the cases on the USCIS site, the RFE only shows for the 485.

10/16/15: APPROVED!

10/20/15: GREEN CARD IN HAND

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS:

07/18/2017: I-751 SENT

07/20/2017: I-751 RECEIVED

07/22/2017: CHECK CASHED

07/24/2017: NOA 1 RECEIVED DATED 7-20-17

08/21/2017: Called USCIS for an update, have not received biometrics letter

09/05/2017: Received email saying we will be electronically added to scheduling list.

11/03/2017: Called USCIS for an update, spoke with Tier II, still have not received biometrics letter.

02/26/2018: Case status shows case is now at local office. 

05/05/2018: Received NOA that biometrics appointment will not be needed.

Went to biometrics yesterday for green card . In and out about 20 minutes. Friday we have to go back again for the same thing. I was told some offices like having separate fingerprints and pictures

That's interesting that you're not at Kansas City. My hardcoppies came from the National Benefits center in Lee's Summit. Did yours as well?

How long after you got your hard copies were you able to view your case online?

We got our hard copies today however, we are still unable to add them to our cases online.

I don't know what to say, I was able to check my case status online the minute I received my electronic NOAs. The problem might be that they upload the information on the website, something like this. Anyways it's just the time problem eventually you can view your case.

Yep, my hard copies are also from Lee's Summit and on Uscis official website it says that Greene County belongs to Kansas City local office, this though contradicts the information from local website, where it says that our county's local office is in St. Louis. I'm honestly so disappointed about St. Louis, because all the process takes there 3 -4 months longer than in Kansas City.

and no, I couldn't reschedule my biometrics appointment, because I wanted just to shift it on the next day. Even then I would have mailed a written request and, considering snail mail, I doubt that the new appointment could make it here by the right time. So I guess we just get up at 5:40 a.m to be there by 9:00 am.
