Nope. Three's a set time. It goes until either the slots or filled or they run put of petitions to fill it. When scheduling is done they are done for that month.

The scheduling starts for some embassies starting at end of the month. It changes all the time. Some don;t get started until 2 week of the month. I try my best to alert everyone when I start seeing the next months assignments. So you will see me say "Philippines has started September" Than people start calling to ask about their own embassy.

Thank you Sukie. I was wondering looking at the timeline, there is "receive appointment letter" and there is also "packet 4 received". What is the difference?

The timeline still reflects old ways of doing things for the IR-1/CR-1 process.

These days after your CC, most people call NVC to find out when their interview is. About 4-7 days after the interview is scheduled, NVC will send a letter telling you when your appointment is, as well as all the stuff you need to bring with you. So you actually get both an appointment letter and the stuff-to-bring-with-you (which is the modern equivalent of Packet 4) at the same time. If you look at my timeline, you will see that the same date appears in both the timeline slots.

Dwheels76, one more question

Do you have any input regarding the embassy in Sweden? Hard to see a trend regarding the interview being scheduled at any specific time or how busy the embassy is by looking at the spreadsheet..
