Hi all Canadians out there (MTL):

I just called the NVC, and was told by the nice lady on the phone that they have completed scheduling interviews for AUGUST. Therefore, no open slots for August. She said to call back in the second week of August for September interviews.

My CC was May 12. Still waiting for an interview at MTL...

Any other Canadians have progress getting interviews?

Also, do the NVC reps have no way of knowing where in the queue I am? At least that information would be helpful - example, I am 10th in line, and if I call back in a few weeks and find out I am still waiting but 5th in line, at least I can breath a sigh of relief that things are moving. Just a thought...

My CC date just missed the cut off for a June interview... there were a few with dates close/on my CC who received interview in June, so I was really hoping to make the cut as well..... Alas, here I am with a July interview....

I was watching your timeline, really hoping to see you get a date soon!!

I cannot believe they've already closed the books on August :P

Still rooting for you!!!!

Fun fact: The nice old lady said the same to me on Monday.

Another man told me yesterday there are appointments available in August.

Thanks Christina, I am also rooting for myself big time!

I guess we hear different things all the time from the NVC. It would put all of our minds more at ease if there was more transparency as to the status of our cases. You would think it would be simple for them to say where I am in the queue. Also, why must I call the NVC just to find out if an appointment was scheduled? That's something that could easily be put on the CEAC website. Luckily today I got through on the second attempt and waited only 30 minutes.

My case is apparently changed to "electronic". And apparently it will take longer. What does it even mean?

I tried to ask her, she said, they are taking pictures of my documents and scanning them electronically although case is complete.

I asked, didn't I sent all the documents electronically anyways? She doesn't have any better answer.

Just $420 and $120. So if I get you correctly, $325 was supposed to be paid? If so, don't know why they sent letter acknowledging case complete, saying case will be forwarded to embassy in 60 days! Ohh Lord, I m thrilling

Just login into ur ceac and make the payment on iv fee bill.
