I saw that too and it gave me hope that they are shaving down the time between CC and interview.. When is your CC?? Did you try calling to see if you have been scheduled??

Just like you ladies, I saw that last night when I was going over the spreadsheet with my husband. I can only assume that maybe that individual had their case expedited. Couple days ago I contacted the Embassy via email only to have them email me back to say they have not received my documents as yet. On the spreadsheet, it only showed 2 people scheduled for August interview and its late August too. Right now I told my husband to pray for September interview. We are almost to the end.

Just like you ladies, I saw that last night when I was going over the spreadsheet with my husband. I can only assume that maybe that individual had their case expedited. Couple days ago I contacted the Embassy via email only to have them email me back to say they have not received my documents as yet. On the spreadsheet, it only showed 2 people scheduled for August interview and its late August too. Right now I told my husband to pray for September interview. We are almost to the end.

At the rate it's going September seems more realistic for us than August, but I can't help but hope based on that june CC with interview in October, that by some miracle we can still get an August date!! I miss my hubby!!! ?

Congratulations for being able to shuffle another few steps forward in the queue. Welcome to the group, good to see you here :)

Man, I hope we don't have to wait too long for an interview date! Seems the average for the South African embassy is around 50 days from CC to interview, so I'm hoping that's the case with me too.

Have you checked the spreadsheet to see what the average is for London?

Yes, but even if your hubby got an interview date earlier than your daughter, wouldn't he have to wait for hers so they could interview together? Really praying for August interviews for all of us...this separation is really awful. Hang in there, soon this will all be a memory for all of us and we will be with our loved ones again :goofy:

And yes, totally agree, so relieved. I told my husband the other day that if the only thing our attorney got right during this whole process was to get us through NVC with no checklists, I would happily forgive him all the other unnecessary stress he caused us. So, looks like all is forgiven!

Have you called the NVC yet to ask them about interview dates? I did, and I got a really cryptic answer. The convo went something like this:

Me: Can you please tell me when I'm likely to get an interview date?

Rep: But you only just got case complete a week ago.

Me: I know, I'm not expecting to have the date already, I'm just trying to find out when it's likely to be - an estimate.

Rep: Well we only schedule interviews a month in advance.

Me: So when will you be starting to schedule interviews for the Johannesburg consulate?

Rep: I already told you, ma'am...a month in advance.

Me: *silence*

I just can't even.

I haven't tried calling yet; figured I'd give them a go around July 20th, 2 weeks after, and see... Doesn't sound like your call was even slightly fruitful!

Thanks ChristinaG cannot explain the feeling once you are holding it! lol Monday!! my husband drove up on Thursday - this morning 8am the visa was ready to pick up and its a very short car ride from where i live. Now Im under pressure to finish my final packing :)

Yes the interview will be scheduled together, i'm jus hoping they schedule it for August.. Probably not gonna happen though

so I was on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins and the rep picks up and says I can't answer any questions regarding your case because we are doing maintaince work and I can't look your case up......FREAKING seriously????!!!!!!! I asked him about interview date, he said they start usually scheduling first week of the month, he couldn't tell me if I will get August because he couldn't login in
