how do they plan to take the system down this weekend ? They are closed on Friday and no body works on the weekend . I feel the guy you talked to was on crack lol .

Received our IV bill today! Didn't call them to get the DS-261 reviewed just let them get to it as we're still getting documents together and it didn't take too long. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to email the AOS and IV packets.

I-130 Sent: 2015/04/08 - USC filing from abroad

NOA 1: 2015/04/10

NOA 2: 2015/05/20 - 40 days!!

NVC Received: 2015/06/05

Case number assigned: 2015/06/17

Submitted DS-261: 2015/07/05

Paid AOS fee: 2015/07/10

Paid IV fee: 2015/07/27

Submitted via email AOS and IV packets: 2015/07/27

Checklist: 2015/08/05 - for DS-260 was having website difficulties and didn't realise they would review our case in 11 days.

Submitted DS-260: 2015/08/07

Supervisor Review: 2015/09/14 - 38 days after submitted DS-260 and still waiting

Checklist/Email from Supervisor?: 2015/09/18 - for missing police certificate, even though we were suppose to submit directly to the Australian consulate. Emailed them as requested stating that info and called stating that info was told to wait another 30 days for them to respond?!?!?!?! :ranting: At least now I'm in direct email communication with a someone.

Case Complete!! - 2015/09/22 - 110 days

Same here, our IV invoice got billed the 21st and I can't pay it online yet.

Also, sent off AOS and IV packages today

IR1/CR1 visa

4/17/15- 1-130 sent

4/23/15- NOA1

5/21/15- NOA2

6/05/15- NVC received case

6/18/15- received case number

7/06/15- completed DS-261 and paid AOS fee

7/23/15- AOS and IV packages sent

7/27/15- IV fee paid, document scan date

8/05/15- completed DS-260

8/15/15- CASE COMPLETE!!

9/28/15- interview at Tokyo embassy- APPROVED

NVC welcome letter + email received: March 10, 2015 - date on letter March 3, 2015

NVC assigned case number: March 1, 2015

DS-261 filed: March 10, 2015

AOS fee payed online: March 10, 2015

NVC confirmation letter for choice of agent being registered: May 5, 2015 - received this letter thru email on May 7, 2014 and again via letter/email May 8, 2015

IV bill received: May 7 and May 8, 2015 (together with letter ds261 review confirmation)

Send in AOS an IV package: May 6, 2015

Payed IV bill thru money order: May 8, 2015

Email from NVC with letter of acceptance of AOS and IV package: May 15, 2015 (processing time: at least 60 days)

Scan date: May 12, 2015

NVC cashed money order IV bill fee: May 15, 2015

Received confirmation letter thru email that IV fee is received: May19, 2015 - date in letter May 15, 2015

Received checklist: June 22,2015 - date on checklist June 19,2015

New scan date checklist: June 24, 2015 (processing time: 30 days)

Filed DS260: July 7, 2015

Case Complete: July 21, 2015!!!!!!

Receives confirmation of case complete on August 1, 2015

Received interview letter on August 11, 2015

Medical: September 9, 2015

Interview date: September 24, 2015

Hi , Good morning. My spouse filed for me while he was a legal permanent resident, and He recently became a US citizen. The I-130 was approved from USCIS and they forward the file to NVC. We got nvc case number in june 3. My spouse sent the naturalization certifictae and his change of name certificate from the district court in mail to the NVC in july 16th . My spouse contacted the NVC customer representative over the phone yesterday and they said my case is still under F2A and not yet received these documents.

How many days it taken for upgrading visa category from F2A to IR1?

I think I need to read through this thread from the beginning.

I received our IV bill today, AOS was received Monday. I can't access the online payment portal.

Do you have to wait until the payment is processed before the ds260 becomes available? I've heard mailing in the payment takes forever to be processed. But I'm not sure we have any other option.

I'll give it a few more days, but I've called multiple times and they can't help, just say it isn't normal and they don't know why mine is still erroring.

Most recent update: Interviewed on 05-OCT 2015. Approved and visa in hand!!!
