how do they plan to take the system down this weekend ? They are closed on Friday and no body works on the weekend . I feel the guy you talked to was on crack lol .

I think you will get CC next week . May be you will reach the exact 30 days . Did you call them to know what happens to your case ?

Many times, it doesn't seem to help. The people answering the phone can't do much, they can't even access the documents you mailed them.

04/01/2015 - NOA2 (161 days)

04/16/2015 - NVC Received

04/23/2015 - Case # assigned / DS-261 completed

04/24/2015 - AOS fee invoiced and paid

04/30/2015 - AOS+IV packages mailed

05/04/2015 - AOS+IV packages received (scan date)

05/15/2015 - IV fee money order payment confirmed

06/03/2015 - Checklist received: missing DS-260 form

06/19/2015 - DS-260 available online and submitted

07/31/2015 - Case Complete (107 days from arriving @NVC or 89 days from scan date)

Embassy

08/25/2015 - Scheduled interview

09/21/2015 - Interview, approved!

10/02/2015 - Passport received

10/04/2015 - POE! (348 days from NOA1)

Woke up to AOS fee changed to N/A, case complete it looks like :D!!! Will call monday to confirm

05/28/15: SCAN DATE, IV and AOS package

06/02/15: DS-261 available and completed

06/08/15: AOS bill available and paid

06/23/15: SECOND SCAN DATE (checklist for new i864 form)

07/05/15: IV bill available and paid

07/08/15: DS-260 Available and completed

07/17/15 Case Complete

EMBASSY STAGE

That is awesome! Congrats. Your timeline is similar to ours. Our scandate checklist for I864 is June 24 and we filed DS260 July 7. So one day later and one day sooner.

Couldnt you just smack yourself for receiving a checklist? I can't help thinking, if we did the I864 right the first time, they only had to review ds260 and we would have a cc by now.Oh well, no point in dwindling.

NVC assigned case number: March 1, 2015

DS-261 filed: March 10, 2015

AOS fee payed online: March 10, 2015

NVC confirmation letter for choice of agent being registered: May 5, 2015 - received this letter thru email on May 7, 2014 and again via letter/email May 8, 2015

IV bill received: May 7 and May 8, 2015 (together with letter ds261 review confirmation)

Send in AOS an IV package: May 6, 2015

Payed IV bill thru money order: May 8, 2015

Email from NVC with letter of acceptance of AOS and IV package: May 15, 2015 (processing time: at least 60 days)

Scan date: May 12, 2015

NVC cashed money order IV bill fee: May 15, 2015

Received confirmation letter thru email that IV fee is received: May19, 2015 - date in letter May 15, 2015

Received checklist: June 22,2015 - date on checklist June 19,2015

New scan date checklist: June 24, 2015 (processing time: 30 days)

Filed DS260: July 7, 2015

Yea I know! The checklist sucked but didn't put us back that much in time anyways, but the technical difficulties at NVC sure did...

I'll update you Monday when the case complete is confirmed ;)

My case was just approved by TSC on July 10,2015. Just received NOA2 letter in the mail . Wondering if anyone knows how soon TSC sends approved cases over. I called and was told my case was sent but when I called NVC they haven't received it yet. When can I expect NVC to finally have my case and be issued a case number. Waiting to get approved was long enough,

It took my case 12 days from approval at TSC until the NVC acknowledged receipt. It took another 2 weeks until I was able to get the case number. I was then able to submit the DS261 in another 4 days which was on the 10th of July. I'm still waiting to be able to pay the AOS fee but I received instructions from NVC yesterday. I hope this gives you an idea of the times things will take.

Help! Can we use the 1040 form without the W2? Wifey says she only has the 1040 forms and they have more info than the W2. Will this be an issue?

I also send 1040 without w2... I did not have any w 2

i have sent AOS and IV package last week and didn't get email i called NVC yesterday they said they received it my question is when i login in to ceac web it says AOS documents and civil documents N/A does it suppose to change ?
