I just called NVC and a rep told me that she couldn't access my case because they just shut down the system to "fix" the errors...grrrrrrr.

Case Complete!!! Yay!!

I received an email in the morning that they received my document. It will take 30 days to review. I called again in the afternoon. And the guy said, they completed my case, And now it is put in the line with the embassy for scheduling the interview.

I tried to ask how many people are in the line etc, he said he has no information about that.

I wouldn't wait to August 1st as NVC will NOT notify you when they received your case... the only notification you will receive is when your relative receives the welcome letter from the NVC.

I'm in the same boat as we just received our NOA2 last week. I would begin calling two weeks after you received your NOA2. and ask if they received your case. When you give them your receipt number from USCIS, they'll respond with the fact that you have to wait 30 days etc...

I would still ask if they can see if your case has been received because it sounds like they're just reading a disclaimer back to you.

Thank you, K & V! It has been 2 weeks since we got NOA2. We called the first time yesterday and luckily we got to talk to a person. Hopefully the next time we call they'd have assigned our case number and IIN already. Have you tried calling NVC?

I called the NVC everyday until they gave me my case number. I'd keep calling.... It took around 15 days for the case number to be assigned from the time they received the petition at NVC.

I'll let my husband know so we could call again tomorrow. Just another question, how long did it take before NVC received your case? Thank you, Dyattaw!

Agreed! I've seen people getting their case number anywhere from 11-14 days after the petition arrives at the NVC.

I/-864 checklist ...it's petitoner's form.....

[x] In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...
[x] Item 13.a. You must include your ___________________________________ tax and income information.
[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal
income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

im able to fill the form DS260 ,

so i have some question

1/ i lived in differents adresees before i got my 16 years old, but the problem that i forget exactly those adresses , WHat should i do ????

2/Mailing and permanet adress information ????!!!!!!!! should i write the adress of the beneficiary outside of usa or should i write my adress in usa ????

please help me

All of them. Use best of your knowledge. I usually find my older addresses in my old emails or some old files/resumes sitting in my computer. You can check with your family too. List them all since you turn 16.

In I864, which income you mentioned? Gross income or total income? Line no 22 in the 1040 is the total income, which you need to mention in the I864.

Did you send the tax information for past three years?
