Hi,

So we tried calling a few days ago, and my husband started at 7am their time, but for some reason couldn't get through at all. I called around 12pm, made sure to keep dialing again and again for like 5-10 minutes non-stop and finally was put on hold (for an hour, but yeah, at least I got to the line). I would just recommend dialing back right away after you hear the second sentence (about large volume blah blah blah) until you get through.

thank you, will call today

The problem is: in my birth certificate is her "married name".. As well as all my documents. I don't have any document with her maiden name

Should I just wait for a checklist?

Tks!

Thanks!

Ana, does your Mom have her Birth Certificate? If she doesn't you can request a copy of it.

Case Complete!!! Yay!!

I received an email in the morning that they received my document. It will take 30 days to review. I called again in the afternoon. And the guy said, they completed my case, And now it is put in the line with the embassy for scheduling the interview.

I tried to ask how many people are in the line etc, he said he has no information about that.

Yay, got case numbers and iin numbers and have submit d261.

When I called the operator said she couldn't take an email from me as I am the beneficiary, sigh, my husband doesn't have the time to call and wait on hold. Does the paperwork that is sent to the nominated agent (hubby) also get sent to the email given on the d261?

For information.. My case was received from uscis June 22nd and case number assigned yesterday July 9th.
