No, nothing

On 7/11 will be 30 days since we sent in the proof via email regarding the AOS fee. Mail proof was received 6/15 and 6/23

But there is no change.

We were placed on sup review again on 7/1, and we keep hearing the same : " we are sorry, but you have to wait"

Feeling completely hopeless.

AOS still showing as not paid, no IV fee issued and no real reason why

1stLoveRedo, am sorry to hear that your having a hard time. My case was in supervisor review for 7 weeks i just pay my AOS yesterday its very difficult waiting so long.I pray you'll get some good news soon

I try to stay away from VJ and no to check it that often,

Last few weeks have been really challenging, with a loss of my MIL, and my hubby changing jobs...

Apparently, if I was to trust the NVC which at this point I am trying really hard to trust, our doc were received, reviewed and competed

So we are 'only' left with AOS, IV bill and DS260

I say 'only'

I am flying over to EU at the beginning of August, we were hoping to come back together mid Sep, but I have no idea if we will be able to

The idea is for me to work from there, which I have never done and hope I can.

Hello VJ friends, it has been a while since I've been on this site. Anyways, after 7 checklists, yes, 7 checklists, from NVC in regards the Affidavit of Support, and going 3 times to my local congressman's office (which by the way, didn't help anything) I took it upon on myself to put on the boxing gloves and deal with NVC. I spent 4 hours and finally got through, and talk to one of the many LAZY BUMS that work at NVC. I have called several times before and tried to talk to a supervisor, but there was never "one available at this time" for my luck. Anyways, this particular time I called, and I said that I was recording them for legal purposes (I WAS BLUFFING, LOL) and that I just needed them to know. I proceeded, and I explained the girl on the phone the reason why I was calling for, and since she couldn't help me, I demanded to talk to a supervisor. She put a SUPERVISOR ON!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT, BUT THERE I WAS, talking to a supervisor about my problem. That same day in the afternoon, I got a message that says, "ALL DOCUMENTATION NESSESARY TO COMPLETE THE NATIONAL VISA CENTER'S PROCESSING OF YOUR CASE HAS BEEN RECEIVED" I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS 8 MONTHS AGO! So people, now you know The national visa center, doesn't want the media to know how nasty they are to people, so the minute they know that they are being recorded, they want to help you. BTW, that was last week.... Good luck to you all..

I couldn't resits and called again

Was told again by a rep that we have been on the Sup review since 07/01

I have requested to talk to a sup, based on the fact that we have no answer as of yet, we have sent in the proof 30 days ago and nothing happened, and that we were placed on the sup review on 06/15 and nothing happened. I was calling upon the 30 days review since 6/15

Well, much to my surprise, I got top talk to a sup. No other then the lady that records the outgoing message,

She promised she will look into the matter and have asked me to resend the message to a special email (feeling hopeful)

Apparently, our case is one of the rare ones that was not triggered by any of the recent fixes and its still pending and waiting for the manual next step switch.

Hi,

I finally got through to NVC last night. They were able to give me the case numbers and invoice numbers for my parents petitions. He did say that the bill is not available yet for me to pay. He also didn't mention when they received the petitions from USCIS. Does anyone know typically how long it takes to be able to go online and pay the fees after the case number becomes available?

I somehow got my case expedited. i sent an email to the nvc in may in regards to the delay and just got a response last week.then when i signed into the nvc it says my case was forwarded to the embassay and the fee paid there. then i just got an email stating the nvc has forwarded my case to the jakarta embassay dated 2 weeks ago. The embassay also sent me an email stating they recieved my i130 approved petition and ready to schedule an interview eventhough i never sent the aos and iv package to the nvc. I emailed in regards of this to the embassay and they said i can bring the i864 to the interview along with the civil documents and pay the aos fee. has anyone else have this happen?

Good for you and congratulations.

This is rare I think. But you filed the request at the right time before you started sending docs to the NVC, which can delay things.

Did you provide a particular reason for expedite?

I didn't request an expedite but am grateful that i got it as it is much easier to deal with the embassay then the nvc. I'm not sure if different countries process the cases differently but it seems some are better than others.
