I tried calling the (603) 334-0700 number this morning to see if they have received our case from the California Service Center. Got a recording saying that due to heavy call volume that all agents are busy and to try and call back later. Then the call ends. Is there another number I can call?

Just keep on calling over and over, you'll get through eventually; best time to call is 6:59am Eastern Time

I guess we are stuck on the NVC blackhole :(

Called today, hopping for some good news and were told, 60+ days after our scan date, that we didn't send police certificates - but we did, I'm holding a copy of our IV Package, exactly how we mailed it, and they are there.

The problem is, the person on the phone can't just pull our file and look at it, instead they need to send to a supervisor and that can take an extra 42 days! Almost one month and a half to look at a file to say "yep, documents are here".

We are having to mail these again. Funny thing is that we didn't get a checklist for them.

Hey everyone.

Now that I've filled out the DS-260, I'm curious about how long I should expect to wait until I get a 'case complete' (assuming I don't get checklisted).

When I finished the DS-260, it said that they'd take 30 days to review. However, they received all of my documents on June 13th.

Does anyone know if they take 30 days to review the documents, and 30 days to review the DS-260, separately?

I was hoping, perhaps foolishly, that if I was able to finish the DS-260 within 30 days of them receiving my documents, that I would theoretically be done on July 13th.

I guess more realistically it will be completed on August 6th?

well we really are neck o neck at nvc... almost same SD and ds 260 filling.. lets see how wins the race

Yes you are right... realistically 6 august..but in forums I have seen a lot of cases with :clock: lot of variability nowadays in nvc processing... SO fingers crossed and Lets hope for the best.

What will most likely happen is that around the 30th day mark from your scan date (june 13th), they will open your file to finally start working on your case. They will see your DS260 there as well, along with the fees you paid.

What happened to us is at the 30th day mark, they didn't have our DS260 (we couldn't access it due to website issues) and we got a checklist instead. Now, after they got the DS260, it will take them another 30 days.

Toozler are you quiet positive about it? see docs after 30days thing.....

Its means that ds 260 30days wont matter in our case..right?? and we are hoping to hear from them, checklist or CC in next week....
