I recently received an email from NVC regarding my petition for my wife and 2 daughters. It says that I have to complete six steps to begin NVC processing. Is this too soon? My PD is 10/17/14. Can this be an error on their part? or should I just go ahead and start filling out everything? Also, I received a second email from NVC addressed to my wife telling her about the same six steps to begin NVC processing. What should I do? Your replies are greatly appreciated

Go ahead and do it. NVC initiates the process ahead of time, before PD becomes current.

@apple21, I also got an email addressed to my wife regarding the same welcome letter and steps to begin NVC processing. Now to select an agent, where does she fall under? Applicant? Since I am the petitioner?

Thank you again. I tried going the NVC website and for some reason it won't let me advance after entering my case # and IIN. Will try calling NVC. I read that they are having technical difficulties regarding forms DS 260, DS261 and paying IV fees online
