Great and Congratz! Finally some news from the Homeland DR ... My interview was the 16th yet still in AP ... but my case did update to today's date ... so this is a 2 day difference ... no order as I was the 16th and yours the 18th ... I just want my wife here for the 4th to share some fireworks and the 6th is our 2nd Wedding anniversary so bittersweet here lol ... but actually second person from that same date I know that got theirs for a CR-1 ... Prayin to see that e-mail lastest tomorrow lol

VAC appointment is the Visa Application Center. Is where the beneficiary will do his fingerprints. This needs to be scheduled and done before the interview.

Yes I have been tracking ... went from Embassy still has it to "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted" And do the e-mails just because ... but that never says anything but no status ... but Happy to see someone from the Homeland has thiers .. means they are back up and moving forward.

Yes I did expedite due to my medical condition. No you do not pay for it, you have to qualify for it.

My fiance case has been in AP since the 9th of June this morning I checked it said issued what does that mean please. Does that mean it's ready for pick up or is there another step to wait for or follow please?

First. CONGRATULATIONS getting issued. You should receive a tracking number or notification to pick up (depending on your consulate). It shouldn't be much longer now. You are at the end.

I don't even know where to begin...

I am so excited and blessed and excited LOL

I checked my case 4 times yesterday (It became a daily routine for me to check that many time) and it still said "Ready". Around 7 pm I checked again and it went to "AP" (Administrative Processing). I immediately checked on Ustraveldocs and tracked my husband's passport and it said "Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for"

I then was happy but doubtful because I didn't know what was going on...LOL

This morning as I check my phone and read all my messages from my lovely ladies Fior, Raymeri and Clara!!!! (My girls from VJ) One commented and said that they had a feeling that someone will have "visa issued" and before I said good morning, I checked CEAC website and sure enough mine said "Issued".

8 business days later guys!! I don't know how this system works, b/c I know there are people who's had their interview before me and hasn't received their visa. I have no idea why mine is any different.

I wish you all well and I hope this issue with the system is resolved quickly b/c I know we all have to get to our loved ones as soon as YESTERDAY!

HUGE CONGRATS TO YOU BOTH! We just got the visa in hand today-hubby arriving late tomorrow night. We never even received a tracking number-just a mail saying come pick up and in less then 24 hours. They don't seem to be going by interview date but just by when the results of biometrics come back (some that were a few days ago interviewed received last week......) however from what i am seeing now-Montreal seems a bit behind and the only one that has many people still waiting for issuance. Lots and lots of happy families right now-Wish you both a very happy reunion.

Congrats! So it's possible from AP to change as ISSUED? thought it would be after READY? mine was back and forth from AP-READY few times now it's AP again ?

I have been analyzing a few cases lately and notice that it changes to AP before it changes to ISSUED. Don't lose hope!! At least they are working on your case

I think you are right about the embassy receiving the biometrics. It makes sense.

I too wish you the best with your reunion. My husband and I will be traveling together (God willing) on Sunday
