47 days passed since my interview, and nothing came as of yet. I have a spoken last Friday to a level 2 officer, and he told me " i can't see anything negative on your file, it is still waiting for approval". I hope USCIS will not mess it up, i have trips out of the country soon and i don't want to miss the oath. The longer the wait the harder it gets.

RED ME! :joy:

I had my oath this morning. It was a great, and very humbling, experience! 107 people from 36 countries. There was one guy from France there who was given a 2nd round of applause when he stood up, and they asked him to go up on stage to say the pledge of allegiance!

Great experience, all in all it took about 2 hours. Thank you all & good luck to those still in the process!!

I had an Oath Ceremony this morning and it was a nice and pleasant experience.



The ceremony was scheduled at 10:00AM, but the letter told me to be there at 8:30AM. The ceremony was performed at the courthouse in downtown Kansas City, so no cellphone allows except cameras. While we were waiting, the USCIS officers started the process: people were called to form the line, gave back their green cards and oath letter/other document(s), went to the table to check their information on the certificate of citizenship, then signed in front of the officers. After this process, we were called to the eighth floor and ran through the ceremony steps. Around 10, the judge came, gave us welcoming notes and a brief speech, then we took the oath. After taking the oath, the representatives from Board of Elections and SSA congratulated us and told us to stop by their tables after the ceremony to register to vote and update our SSN status (which I think it's nice and saved my time not to go to the actual SSA location). Then we did the pledge of allegiance and the judges presented us with our certificates...and I am now a US citizen :)

Intview: Date of your interview
Oath: Date Oath taken
Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you would be doing the N-400 interview

Green Card issued 9/28/2014 after filing I-601 Wavier

Removal of Conditions
6/6/2014 - Meeting with Lawyer to start process
7/15/2014 - ROC mailed
7/24/2014 - Received at USCIS
8/11/2014 - Biometric appointment notice received
8/18/2014 - Biometric appointment

10/24/2014 - ROC Approved!

No oath letter yet because they haven't scheduled me for an oath ceremony. But I was placed in line for an oath ceremony on Nov 4th. I'm sure your status will update to in line for oath soon.

I just received text and email notification that I am already in Line for oath ceremony, did you receive your letter yet?

Just got off the phone with a Tier 2 USCIS officer and my oath ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 22nd @ 8:30 am. Location is Oakton high school.

Do you think I should call them too? Cause we're moving next week and I don't know when to change my mailing address online

You can try but if your status has not been updated to "oath scheduled" then I don't think a tier 2 officer can help you. I called because my oath ceremony was scheduled today. I have been in line since Nov 4th.

I got notification again today that my Oath Ceremony Notice has been mailed. That was fast. So I can call them now right?

Can anybody please tell me the number of the USCIS to call so I can call and ask when and where will be my oath ceremony? I called this number 1 (800) 375-5283, but the lady who picked up was rude. Thank you!

That's the same number you have to call. Try again until you get through to somebody that's not rude.

I called the main customer service line and immediately requested a tier 2 officer. They transferred me with no issues. My guess is that you are in the Dec 22nd group.
