Had my interview and oath ceremony today!

Was scheduled for 8AM but got called in around 8:20AM. Very very nice lady in her mid 50s...I'd say! Swore me in, went over the application (the yes/no questions)

Six civic questiosn were;

1.How many supreme court judges?

2.Who's the 3rd inline for presidency?

3.Name one branch of govt.?

4.How many years do senators get elected?

5.What's the role of the cabinet?

6.What did declaration of indepedence do?

Reading;She had me read" When is Columbus Day?". Writing; She had me write " Columbus Day is in October"

She then explained that a judicial oath cremony would take place in 2 months or I could come back in the afternoon for an administrative oath ceremony. Chose to come back in the PM.

Interview took about 5 minutes. Ceremony lasted about 20 minutes in the afternoon(25 people were sworn to oath). After the ceremony, I went straight to the post office and aplied for a passport! Done with USCIS 4ever! Good luck to those still in the process!

It's been three months since the fingerprints and we are still waiting for at least "in-line" message... It sucks... :(

Yes it really sucks, what's your online status show. looks like you have 3 cases, all three are with same status. mine shows "Case received" but finger prints were done 2 and half month ago..

My mother received her oath letter and is scheduled for 11/20 in NYC. On 11/9 online status changed to "In Line for Oath" and on 11/10 status changed again to "Your Oath Has Been Scheduled".

i am in the same boat. just waiting for interview

I did a small research by looking at the status of 1000 cases around my case number. looks like 10 to 12 percent have the similar status as ours, Case received on xxxxx. I am thinking all these cases were hold because of name check or some further checks. I think it might take about 6 months to see any movements. I tried contacting my local senator and he said the same thing, my case is 3 month old and local field office is taking more than 5 months and I have to wait few more months to put an enquiry, I think we just have to wait couple more months and see what happens. :).

Jham Anne - Did you change your address with USCIS? Make sure you sign up for mail forwarding with the post office.

FYI - I did my interview on Oct 29 at the Fairfax office and I still haven't got my oath letter yet. My status changed to "in line for oath ceremony" on Nov 3, six days after my interview. Has yours been updated yet? If not, it should update the week of Nov 9. I wouldn't bother calling USCIS until your status is updated.

I think they have a high volume of applicants in the DC field office and it takes time for them to find open slots. I still have my fingers and toes crossed to be slotted in one of the ceremonies scheduled for Nov 21 but we might get pushed out to December. My guess is that your oath letter will arrive just before you move out.

I will give them a call before we move out, to make sure. Did you receive your oath letter yet? Cause my status haven't change yet. Still waiting. -_- How come you receive your notice after 6 days and mine not. Just being patient now....

No oath letter yet because they haven't scheduled me for an oath ceremony. But I was placed in line for an oath ceremony on Nov 4th. I'm sure your status will update to in line for oath soon.

I have my n400 interview done in Chicago on 11/09/15 and I passed and was told to wait 2 to 3 week for oath letter. I'm worried that my status has not update

It won't update until you've been scheduled. Could be 3 weeks.

I have my n400 interview done in Chicago on 11/09/15 and I passed and was told to wait 2 to 3 week for oath letter. I'm worried that my status has not update

Yes it really sucks, what's your online status show. looks like you have 3 cases, all three are with same status. mine shows "Case received" but finger prints were done 2 and half month ago..

Two cases show "case recieved", one shows "in line for interview". Fingerprints were done on the same day for all three, more than three months ago.
