The letter of extension does NOT expire. The letter of extension extended your green card for an additional 1 year.

My letter of extension expires on July 28 2016,even though I'm not travelling anywhere now is it important I get a stamp on my passport?will it affect my job if I don't get a stamp on my passport?

The VSC is now officially processing cases for August 2, 2015. So technically everyone left here is out of normal processing time and as such should have no problem at all speaking to a T2 officer. Very sad that I still have to wait for this.

Now is the time to fight back with all we got (not much). Good luck to everyone.

I have been using an application for mobile USCIS App. It's free. You can see nearby cases. And from the App, near mine there are 6 pending applications. We aren't alone. ?

I filed my ROC on July 13 2015 and still haven't heard anything. I spoke to a tier 2 officer about 1 week ago who sent in a service request. He assured me someone would get in touch with me in 2 weeks. So that's gonna be this coming week. Let's see what's gonna happen.

Weren't you supposed to hear from them by now on your service request?

Yes as a matter of fact I should have heard something by now. That's why I called them and spoke to a Tier 2 officer, who now came with this story that when you submit a service request they have up to 30 days to respond (which is basically a nice way of saying that they will respond whenever they respond and thats it).

There's worst news. Because I sent in a service request on June 27, the act of sending in a request actually pulls the I-751 application file out of the "adjudication line" so that someone can review it and send in a response. Then they put the file back at the end of the adjudication line. That was what the Tier 2 officer told me. Later that day I spoke to my immigration lawyer who confirmed the story. My layer has worked at a local USCIS office before for 10 years.

So, your file is sitting at the end of the adjudication line because you called, and is that way you are imploring all of us to call Tier 2 officer so your file moves forward? Pretty Smart  ... just kidding! Well, I helped you there by just calling before seeing your recent post!

Guys I didn't mean to scare anyone or to make anyone do anything. That was not my intention. I just wanted to let you know what I was told since we are always left to our own devices. Immigration never tells us anything. I just thought that information should be helpful. Bu yes, according to T2 officer and lawyer requesting info does delay your adjudication.

About two weeks ago I scheduled an info pass and last Friday I went to the USCIS office in Baltimore Maryland and the officer I spoke to said that it was not uncommon for ROC cases in VSC to take 2 years to adjudicate, which in my own understanding it's a nice way of saying that they will take as much time as they want/need.

But at the same time I am confused because the same officer who told me that, also told me that I got a response to my request And the response stated that an officer was reviewing my case and that I would likely be adjudicated within 60 days.

A third officer, for some reason, called me on Saturday and according to her the fact that it said "reviewing" on her system meant that I was going to have an interview. Personally, I don't think she's right since fairly often customer service officers don't really have their act straight. And besides, my lawyer told me that at this point they will only request an interview if they suspect of fraud. And since my marriage is actually real, I have nothing to fear.
