Have there been any recent approvals for California or any at all for Vermont? We are thinking we probably won't hear anything until May being a Vermont filer.

I've been monitoring this thread to find out the same... Do let us know if anyone gets approved so we know the approvals are proceeding.

Dear folks,

I am back again for some valuable suggestion. I have inquired to the immigration service center (vermont center) regarding not getting any update on my case after the bio-matrix scan and got the response saying, "We found no evidence that a properly executed form G-28 hs been submitted ". Can me/my spouse appeal to remove the attorney at this stage as they didn't find G-28 properly, anyway??

Now, problem is I am out of US without any travel document/visa with the hope of renew of green card and have a booking to fly back in April. What should I do?

Note: The form I-751 had filled in October, 2015 and appeared for bio-matrix in November, 2015.

Appreciate your suggestion,

You can use the calculator to check if you can file within the 90 days period of your 3rd year anniversary of your green card.

Appreciate your suggestion,

Did your I-751 receipt notice for 1 year extension expired already? If not, you can use that to fly back to US and no need to wait for green card approval.

Dear Sir/Madam,

First of all thank you so much. I am lucky that it will not expire till my date of journey back. However, does airline allow me to get into the plane? They usually ask to show a green card prior to deliver a boarding card as from my past experiences. Also, If I permitted to board in plane in case, would the port authority officer allow me to get into the country?

Note: sorry for the pronounce you sir/Madam but I couldn't find your name out.

If your extension letter is not expired yet, of course, your airline will let you come back and pass the immigration. If you do get photocopy of your original, they will still ask for Original extension letter. Been there, done that :D

It has been a while since I posted. I submitted in the CSC. I got a RFE dated 2/14/16 (yep on valentine's day). We mailed the documents 3/8.I gathered all my documents (I have a lawyer by the way). They received it 3/11. I got email for card production 3/17. It was a long stressful journey. Naturalization next!!!!Congrats to all those who have been approved!
