Hey guys... Looks like I was approved today... Got the following notification when I logged into My USCIS:

"On December 22, 2015, we ordered your new card"

Would someone be kind enough to update the list for me?

N-400 Application for Naturalization

07/15/16 - N-400 and supporting documents sent to Phoenix via FedEx

07/17/16 - Earliest accepted filing date

07/18/16 - Package delivered to Phoenix

07/21/16 - Check cashed

07/25/16 - NOA received via USPS (dated 07/21/16)

07/26/16 - Biometrics appointment notice available online

08/10/16 - Biometrics appointment

02/24/16 - Online status change to "Interview Scheduled"

02/27/17 - Interview appointment notice available online

03/31/17 - N-400 interview at Los Angeles office - Recommended for approval
03/31/17 - Online status change to "Oath Ceremony Scheduled"

So 1 person from the June filers was approved from VSC. That's a bit weird since none of the May filers at VSC has been approved yet!! What gives? Why are they arbitrarily approving people from different months since supposedly everyone is in line and is waiting! I know for a fact that the person didn't apply under any of the special categories where they expedite the process for you because she said "I wasn't really waiting for this."

I wish someone would give us an insight and tell us what's going on. This is torture.

Why are they arbitrarily approving people from different months since supposedly everyone is in line and is waiting!

If you look at the timelines from other months, there are always a few that got approved ahead of everybody. My theory is the service center uses these to show they are currently processing cases from those months as they probably don't want to look like they still have untouched cases more than 6 month old. Call it a lottery and those who got approved months ahead of everybody are the lucky winners.
