one August has been approved. So, anything can happen anytime

Hello.

What exactly do you mean by "one august has been approved"? So a person who filed to have their conditions removed in August has already been approved, is that it? If so was that at the Vermont Service Center?

Hello.

I am in the August group - one of our early August filers from CSC got approved, but that seems to have been some special military deal. Other than that, CSC seems to mostly be working on April/May cases, VSC is all over the place. Good luck July filers!

Hi Everyone. The California Service Center is already halfway through the June applications with 56% complete (per this website), while the Vermont Service Center has just begun working on April with only 7%.

So some of us who have filed with VSC in July will still have to wait until the end of April, 2016 on the very least to have our conditions lifted. That is absurd and preposterous that they get to take so long to process these applications while our lives are pretty much on hold. I'm currently looking for a job, to raise my 3 kids, and every time is the same question. "Wait, your green card is expired and you have a letter for only 1 year??". How do you explain to every single person interviewing you the whole bureaucratic process of USCIS?

When the entire Government of the United States shuts down because politicians can't agree on the budget USCIS is the only part of the american government that never shuts down because it operates solely on the money of applications of visas, green cards and naturalizations. That`s a multimillion dollar operation. The least they could do is to have some respect and fix the goddamn Vermont Service Center. How pathetic!

I'm sorry for being so negative guys. Tomorrow will be a better day.

8/5/2011: NOA2 hard copy received
8/8/2011: transfer requests sent to Beirut, Ankara and Amman consulates
8/12/2011: NVC received case
8/21/2011: transfer request approved by Amman
8/23/2011: NVC approved case transfer, new case # assigned
8/25/2011: case mailed to consulate from NVC
9/4/2011: received by Amman consulate, Packet 3 received via email, interview scheduled
9/25/2011: INTERVIEW! Result: Request for further information
10/11/2011: Additional information sent

I had a dream that I was approved and that I was the first to be approved in the group. Needless to say I am a little jealous!! Congratulations for real though!!

Did your online status change before u got your mail?

AOS based on a marriage with US citizen:

06/06/2012 - last entry in USA on J1 visa;

05/06/2013 - got married;

07/18/2013 - sent the package (I-130, I-485, I-765);

07/23/2013 - USCIS received the package;

07/29/2013 - received notifications for acceptance via e-mails and text messages;

08/02/2013 - received notifications for acceptance via mail;

08/08/2013 - received biometrics letter (appointment for 08/14) via mail, without any e-mail or text message notifications;

08/14/2013 - done with biometrics;

08/22/2013 - I-485 online status updated to "Testing and Interview";

08/28/2013 - I-485 online status says " On August 28, 2013, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 4, 2013...";

08/30/2013 - received notification for an Interview on October 04 2013, 8:30 am via mail;

09/23/2013 - I-765 online status updated to "Card/Document Production";

09/28/2013 - received EAD card;

10/04/2013 - interview day - approved on spot!

10/17/2013 - received my green card via mail
