I applied for my Adjustment of Status, EAD and Adanced Parole at the same time about 2 months ago. I received my Green Card last week but have not received my EAD or AP (which I don't need now of course). Does anybody think I stand a chance of getting a refund on my EAD and / or AP applications?

10/13/2006: Interview Approved

10/26/2006: POE: EWR (ARRIVED) [/size]

01/22/2007: Sent to The Lockbox.....let the games begin.....again

Sorry way too funny---there is no such thing as a refund with anything to do with Immigration!

At least from my understanding--I could be wrong---but I have had to pay more fees due to USCIS screw-up of AOS appointment.

August 2009--Permanent Resident Card arrives!!!!

We are Finished with Immigration for 10 years!!!!

2/5/07 - 2 Year Green Card arrives!!! YAY!!!!

5/10/08 - Received RI Driver's License!

11/10/08 - Removing Conditions - Sent package out!

11/19/08 - Received Notice of Action - 1 year extension on my current green card - now waiting for biometrics letter.

11/28/08 - Received biometrics letter.

12/12/08 - Biometrics appointment - 10am.

01/13/09 - Still waiting............

06/08/09 - Card in production and on it's way!

06/22/09 - Received 10 Year Green Card! YAY!!

Congrats on your big money green card!

K1 Journey:

April 13/06 NOA1 from NSC

June 1/06 - Moved to CSC

August 12/06 APPROVED - NOA2!!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

October 29/06 Moving Date

December 30/06 Married!!

AOS Journey:

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

ROC Journey:

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

Thanks all for your congratulations, we are both over the moon it arrived so quickly. I've put my timeline below as I don't have one in my footer. The refund idea was a bit of a pipedream :)

I485, I131 and I765 mailed - 14th Dec

Biometrics Interview - 25th Jan

Transferred to California - 18th Jan

I-797 NOA of approval - 7th Feb

Green Card mailed - 12th Feb

Green Card received - 16th Feb

Edited to say 3 months, not 2 - sorry :oops:

Dang your green card moved fast!

We are mailing my husband's I-485 and I-765 today. My personal theory is that, since we are paying for EAD, then Murphy's Law will dictate that we get the green card first and have "wasted" $180 :) That is what I am hoping at least!!!
