Service center human errors - rant

I guess this is just a rant but i sent my stuff in at the end of january. I was going to send in the old form since the web said it was good till 2.18.07 or whatever. BUT i went ahead and downloaded the NEW 129-F right when it came out and sent it instead. I am now visiting my fiance in her country for a 6 weeks and someone is checking my mail. They have sent the entire packacge back after a week claiming i had the old form. And even then, the old form was supposed to still be good untill the 18th or so. I think i got the package back on the 5th of feb.. Should i not be suprised with errors such as these? Does anyone else have similar stories? I made sure to triple check everything and even had my house sitter go through the forms and verify that ALL the forms were up to date after i got them back. #######, now i wont be back home for another month and dont want to risk someone sending them. BTW that was the Vermont Center.

hmmmm...well that just sucks! I'm wondering if VSC didn't realize that you had the newest form. I haven't heard of any similar stories. I would see if someone here could call for you and find out why the newest forms were not excepted and go from there.

Heck, it scares me too: I sent in the NEW forms to VSC. I better not get the packet back in the mail, too!

Probably just some silly, nameless bureaucrat who skimped on his/her coffee that morning and couldn't read properly. But you'll pay for it and s/he won't.
