POE Question

Jinky was asked during her medical exam what would be her POE and she told them LAX. Do we have to keep to that? I'm trying to book a flight and some flights have a stop over in Guam or Hawaii which are US territories. My guess is that it shouldn't matter as long as she lets immigration know at whatever POE she is admitted into the US that she originally thought it would be LAX.

Much appreciated. :star:

I can't give an authoritative answer, but I don't think it would be a problem :) When will she be here?

Since they tell you not to book the ticket until AFTER you get the visa, I'm sure they'd be ok if it was changed

Lorelle (Aussiewench) Went through Hawaii and posted about it. :) Congrats.

You are not "locked" in to or obligated to use any POE you might have thought you would use. If a flight to LAX gets diverted for some reason and the plane lands in SFO and will they deny entry because you are now using SFO vs. LAX? NO.

YMMV
