Supreme Court rules states must allow same-sex marriage

If it all about equality, then why do we have 50 states with 50 different set of rules and laws for each state.

My concealed handgun license is not valid in all 50 states, my hunting/fishing licenses only valid in Texas, My professional Licenses are only valid in Texas.

I am not seeing equality with those..

And this morning I learned that I will have health insurance through my wife's work as of July 1st (HAPPY CANADA DAY) and that Denton County has fallen.

Do what the LGBT community did: Hire a lawyer and file a lawsuit. Just don't stand there and complain. Do something to effect the change you desire to see in the world.

No lawyer worth their salt would take that suit. There's no discrimination.

I think so too, but our legal system allows for anyone to have their day in court. If the other poster feels so strongly about those things and believe they should carry across all 50 states, he should get a lawyer and explore a lawsuit to that effect and have it argued in all courts and taken to the SCOTUS is it so warrants.

What we do know for sure is that if the LGBT community had not pressed on with their grievances, this day would not have come. Complaining alone will not do it.

Don't courts dismiss lawsuits with no basis? I mean, I'm pretty sure I read that recently about a person who was suing god?

He also says, if you read it, that they are not guaranteed protection if they fail to issue marriage licenses and that they will be subject to lawsuits. Did you read the article or just the headline?
