Same thing what happen to me i was interview last sept 14 2015, there is a prblm with the income of my husband 2014 is only more than 1700$ which is the required poverty guideline is more than 19000$ the consul advice that we need joint sponsor, my husband need to fill up the i-864 and the joint sponsor need to fill up also the i-864a and required to submit irs and w-2.... The consul keep my passport and they didnt give me any white form or piece of paper... They said that will keep ur passport and submit the required supporting papers needed... We submit the documents oct 1. 2015, i hope that it will take 2-3 weeks to review before they will issue my visa

So you were just asked to send in new i-864 together with the i-864a and the irs and w2? Did they ask u to bring original irs and w2?

The only advised is the original i-864 and i-864a scanned or photocopied is not accepted with original signatures

For missing information. I dint get email yet. I called last Friday. I am waiting for nvc email

I suggested before, get a checklist over the phone and despatch them required docs. Ppl still have email for CL and they are waiting more then one month.

Guys unfortunately my visa refused they need original document of my joint sponsor and w2 with clear copy of green card and they need letter from my family in case we are going to stay with our families or contract in case of lease a house one more point they told me to let my wife travel before me to USA

They told me to come back when all the above ready

@guillermorjoanna... May i just re phrase what did u say, just check me if im wrong... Did u mean the original i864 and i864a are required for u to submit... But if u submit them in scanned or photocopy even the signature is original, they will not accept it?

Why did they refused u? Did they not ask u to bring those document in ur interview? Is it not indicated in ur interview letter? Is the status code of ur financial evidence in ur IL, letter "O" or letter "Y"?
