quick question,how you track the package fron nvc to the embassy?

I posted it earlier in the thread, but goto:

http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

Then find out enter the date that NVC confirmed your package was shipped out. Then enter that date in the following format in the shipper reference line:

for example, my package was mailed out on 29th July

so I put:

EXP 29 JUL 2015A

Then I set the date range from July 1st to Aug 3rd.

Then track and it will show you a list of all packages mailed out by the NVC including all the points it stopped along the way. You don't really need to call NVC, you can just estimate. The key is to look for your embassy in the list.

I think so too but it will cut off on the 15th, since the PD only cuts off on the 1st, 8th, 15th or 22nd of every month. since we know someone here had an interview with dec 9 PD, the next date it wil

My wife's PD is 31 Jan 2014. We got IL. Scheduled for Sep 9th at Mumbai Embassy.

What happens after interview? How long does she have to wait post interview before coming to US?

Yes. This morning. Do they give visa soon after interview (like they do for non-immigrant visa's) or do they have to do some additional paper work and they give it after a month or so?

For F2A, it seems to be between the last week of the month to first week of next month. For example this time scheduling started on the 29th of July and seems to have been all the way up to today. Last month I believe scheduling started on the 25th of June and ended before July started. Hope it helps.

The only Interviews i saw from last week r for F2A only....today just one guy from IR1 got Interview and others being told that the September slots r full...This is quite surprising...I think they schedule for IR cases in mid of current month for the following month...and other thing is the date being scheduled for all is from 1-5 mostly in September except few ....So its interesting where do other dates of month go...???

It usually takes 5 to 7 days to get visa in hand after interview. I would recommend to book flights after getting visa.

Thank you guys i'm just wondering for the schedule the interviews.... but also its too tough if they schedule by first and end days of each month

so i have to wait for one month to get my IL :(

Btw guys. For those who just got their case completr and just received IL. Should you collect again all documents (police, I864, ...) and have it again day of interview even if they are less than a year old?
