I am lost and my fiance does not seem to know what to do either. She has packet 3 now. But we don't know what to do from here. Does she just fill in the DS230, only part 1?, and send it back to the embassy? When does she pay the fee, what else gets sent in?

I would be enormously grateful if someone could outline this process for us. Thanks.

Go here for instructions

http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/services/visa...20Checklist.htm

You can fill them out and send them to her. Read as much as you can here, because it is specific to the Bangkok Embassy.

06/15/2005 - Met in Thailand

01/01/2006 - Proposed

05/31/2006 - I-129F arrives at CSC

09/19/2006 - Received IMBRA RFE

09/29/2006 - NOA2

01/11/2007 - Interview

01/17/2007 - POE (Atlanta)

Fiance returned home due to "family emergency"

Trying to get K-1 revalidated based on:

22 CFR 9 FAM 41.81 N6.3

More to come . . .

Ok, So she fills out the DS2301. Then sends it to the embassy at wireless road. When does she pay the fee?

She probably has to pay at the interview. If you want to know for sure, you should contact the embassy.

She pays the fee at any thai post office prior to interview. Once Embassy receives packet 3 they will issue packet 4 with interview date.

goontar,

The visa application packet that the consulate sent to your wife has an instruction sheet and checklist in it, written in both Thai and English. Have you seen the English version?

The checklist that Mike_N_Yoyo referred you to on the embassy web site has some differences, looking over both of them will give you more pieces of the puzzle than either one alone.
