If I send original evidence photos of my fiance and I with the I-129F then I wont have the same photos for interview? Do I need originals for both? Can I make photo copies? Can I use digital photos or have to have them printed at photo place? Please advise.

My mom printed my digital photos on her printer for the I-129F. For my interview, I'm bringing in those photos printed at Walgreens.

I used digicam photos printed on photo paper on my printer. For the interview, I'm using photos from a picture cd printed at a photo shop. I would imagine either one would be fine. Oh, for the petition I wrote names and dates on the back too. :)

I have a digital camera, so all my pictures are jpgs. I printed out "contact" sheets on a color printer with 4 pictures to a page, and put names, dates, and locations on the back. I will print them out on photo paper and take to the interview.

This goes to the whole question of pictures and their importance. I, like many others, feel they are only a secondary form of evidence, so having "studio quality" pictures to send in, is not important, just as long as you have the actual pictures.

Just FYI. We had pictures taken on my digital camera. We printed them at a photo sshop and then wrote our names, location and date of the picture on the back of each. We submitted the suggested amount in the VisaJourney K-1 Guide.

Like many others, we had pictures taken on a digital camera and printed off.

We also forgot to write names and dates on their backs and were approved without problems. Well, I totally recommend writing the info on the back (!!!) but I guess the fact that the CSC wasn't too strict on us for forgetting it could be a proof for what roi_aggie said (that pics are only a secondary form of evidence).

I thought it might be useful (for someone) if I noted here that I received an RFE for more evidence substantiating our meeting. According to the letter I recieved, USCIS would prefer "film-dated photographs of the petitioner and the beneficiary together. NOTE: USCIS will accept non-dated photos if dated photos are not available."

Note that I did send photos of us together in my original packet. ;) I'll just send more this time, I suppose.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

Campanita,

In answer to your first question - you will have the same photos for your interview, or for any other purpose, if you make multiple prints.

In answer to your last question - digital photos and printing at a photo place are not mutually exclusive. How a photo is recorded does not dictate how it's rendered on paper.
