Oh wow - only 35 days?! Can you tell me when you applied? Does the appointment for biometrics typically come before or after you get the AP approval, or there is no linkage between the two?

Check their timeline. It was last year. To get a better idea of current approval time, check out the March/April/May threads on the AOS progress board. EAD/AP is taking around 75 days right now.

And the appointment for biometrics is much sooner: usually around a month after filing for AOS/EAD/AP.

The "recent technology issues" are still occurring at this time. As such, your guesstimate is likely as good as the next guy's guesstimate.

To find other's experiences, read some timelines. BTW: :time:

Good luck on your immigration journey.

EAD and AP can take up to 90 days, if you don't have them by day 75 you are allowed to put a service request in to speed the process up. The average time for AOS if you get a Potential Interview Waiver letter is around 10 to 12 months, although they seem to be playing catch up right now. Some lucky people get AOS sooner and some unfortunate people have waited over a year and are still waiting. If you are called for an interview then the wait will be much shorter than if you get the dreaded letter. Luck of the draw I guess.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

Hey fynmix,

I submitted my AOS package on 04/14. I had my biometrics done on 05/12. I'm yet to receive my EAD/AP (I'm on day 68 as of today).'

As I can see, it is taking a little over 75 days for EAD/AP and 4 to 5 months for green card.

I suggest you fill your timeline, that help you and help others too to have some estimate.

I was also studying this last night to know for myself. But you have to remember that 75 days is recently just for approval (for AP/EAD) and more recently it's not typical for people to receive their visas by day 75. Most the recent timelines I saw received their visas in 80-85 days. They say wait up to 90.

Hi!

Here's my timeline for AOS (K1) application:

07 April - mailed AOS packet

14 April - Text/E-mail Notification of Acceptance

18 April - NOA1 for AOS, AP & EAD received by mail

Case Was Received

On April 10, 2015, we received your Form I-131, Application For USCIS Travel Document, Receipt Number MSC15909XXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by May 10, 2015, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

NOTE: This notice is the same for AOS, EAD & AP (it remains for my AP until today (June27, 2015)

25 April - Form I-797C received by mail (Biometric schedule)

07 May - Biometrics done

>>>>>>>>Waiting time<<<<<<<<<<<

This update is for my AOS:

Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

As of June 2, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC15909XXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

26 June - Received I-797 Notice of Action for EAD & AP

27 June - Received combo card (EAD & AP)

This update was for my EAD:

Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office

On June 27, 2015, the Post Office delivered your new card for Receipt Number MSC15909XXXXX, to the address that you gave us. The tracking number assigned is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Total waiting time for my EAD/AP card is 76 days. I learned that checking the status frequently doesn's help. I relied with the "Processing Times" here at Visa Journey. When I saw the date changes for EAD & AP to April 07, the date I submiited my packet. I know I will be receiving something soon. The estimated time for the processing shown at my timeline was June 26-29, it was pretty accurate.

Our journey for AOS is quite stressful if we will keep on thinking about it. =) Just like processing K1 Visa. Overall "PATIENCE" is needed. Also the processing times varies too, there are some cases that they receive RFE.

Good luck to all filers.

regards,

Dahlia
