What came first for you? The NOA1 or your check being cashed? My check has been cashed, but no NOA1 via text or email.

Same here. Package was delivered on 6/19, check cashed today 6/24, and I have yet to see a notification via text or email.

06.19.2015 - I-129F Delivered

06.24.2015 - Check cashed, Electronic NOA1

06.29.2015 - Hard copy NOA1 (NOA1 Date 06.23.2015)

08.04.2015 - Notice of RFE

08.10.2015 - RFE in mail (long form birth certificate)

08.14.2015 - RFE received notification (email)

08.24.2015 - NOA2

09.15.2015 - Case # from NVC

09.28.2015 - Logged at MTL (status "Ready")

09.28.2015 - Emailed Packet 3 to MTL

09.29.2015 - Packet 4 received via email

11.16.2015 - Medical in Toronto

12.17.2015 - Interview in Montreal -- Approved!

First the check is cashed and then you will receive your NOA1 notification via email or text (if you filled out the G-1145) or snail mail. It could take anywhere from 7-10 business days to receive your NOA1 from either of those sources. If you check was cashed, then it's very likely you will get the NOA1 soon. Good Luck!

01/01/2015 - Met through a friend while on vacation
02/12/2015 - 1st Visit (became official)
04/01/2015 - 2nd Visit (got engaged)

04/27/2015 - I-129F packet mailed via USPS

05/05/2015 - NOA1 via email and text NOA1 date: 4/30)

06/11/2015 - Electronic RFE via email

06/17/2015 - RFE response received at USCIS

06/26/2015 - NOA2 via email at 10:30 :)

07/20/2015 - NVC received

07/21/2015 - Case # assigned

07/23/2015 - Left NVC

07/27/2015 - Arrived at Embassy

07/28/2015 - Packet 4 received

07/29/2015 - Packet 4 sent

08/20/2015 - Interview Date :idea:
