Hi AKZ

what do you mean by not oath and finger print ? Didn't you get interview ? You just needed to summit the missing document and they gave you the visa right away ? Or you got interview last year n you case was on AP for 1 year until you summit the missing document then they gave you the visa. Sorry I am confusing ...

My case is on AP around 3 months now . We sent third email to embassy asking about our case . They replied that my case need time to review . We kept asking if I need to summit any document. We told them if our case need to add more proof or other paper please let us know . They said now they don't need any paper from us . at least they should have told me what happen to my case. My interview processing went smoothly . CO didn't ask me many question . He kept my evident of relationship n birth certification translate . He gave me back the passport n he told me that he doesn't need anything from me now n he will contact me back when the review processing is done .

Good morning all, any updates/good news after the holiday weekend?

No news. Several cases were updated and issued during this last week, but we were not in that group. Most of the fiance/spousal cases were issued. It's a little discouraging to see so many pass us by (more than five cases) and in the meantime, we have been in ready status for 26 days and the last update being 19 days ago.

Hopefully they give us some attention this week and maybe we will get good news! Hoping....

Hi there!

I had my interview yesterday at American embassy at Islamabad for K-1 fiancé visa !

When I was asked for my fingerprints at the counter ,During that process I have seen my file , and on top of that it was stamped "APPROVED" , I was happy as I already know I am gonna approved.

Than I was called to another counter for payment of visa fee and I have seen my file again with " APPROVED" page on top of it .

Than finally I was called upon for my interview and seen my file again stating "APPROVED" . I was happy as I knew it's approved .

But than begins the interview ,I greeted the CO ,there were two white men ,CO & his colleague ,he asked me following questions?

He took my left hand finger prints again

Q:U spend some time in UK?

I replied ....studies & work .

Q: than was asked for any of my family member outside Pak

I replied ..no

Q:He asked me about my wedding plans ?

I told him ...

Q:he asked me what my family think about that marriage ?

I replied...

I don't know what was that but he was pointing on computer screen and talking to his colleague ( something he don't seem to be agreed / or happy ..God knows what ?)

Than he told me we are putting you in Adminstratibe processing AP, and than told me contact them after 1 month (if I don't hear from them call/ email them )

The whole time of my interview I was confident and peaceful ,just for a little while when he said about AP, but I greeted them and wish them a gud day ( DONT know it was a good sign to say as I was confident when he said they putting me in AP, and I said OK).

My quarry is ,was it my hardluck or something ?

As they didn't ask me anything about my FIANCÉ ,and didn't ask about any of the document neither mine / nor my fiancé .they didn't give me any clue what I'm missing or why I'm being held in AP

ANY ONE PLS COMMENT AS I AM REALLY FEELING LOW, we already make plans of our marriage etc...

Is this normal that u see yourself APPROVED & than CO PUT U IN AP????

it seems that the CO's saw something on your file which caused you to be put into AP. Honestly, it doesn't really matter if you saw "approved" on your file. The CO's word is the final word. Now you just have to wait. You should never make any type of marriage or travel plans until you have visa in hand because you never know what will happen. Even though they tell you 1 month, it could last longer. They told my husband 2 weeks and he was in Ap for 3 1/2 months. Our AP was fairly short. AP can last anywhere from days, weeks, months or even years. I know this doesn't put your mind at ease, but just be patient and Inshallah your visa will be issued soon. Did they keep you passport? Usually that is a good sign.

Yes THEY KEPT MY PASSPORT ..

My status is changed to AP ,I seen earlier

Do those people who has been interview as "approved" status changed to AP ,as well

I was just wandering mine is change to AP ,even though CO gave me AP FORM ( which is white piece of paper)

I pray it's no later than a month ,this time is the hardest time ever had ,not knowing what happened & for how long it gonna take

Peace to every one
