Hello all, sorry I have been away from the forum for a while.

First I want to say CONGRATS to Amhara for getting to the READY! Has the visa been issued yet?

Latest update on my end is that I received an email from the Embassy and they said that I need to submit a joint sponsor AOS. I don't understand why I need a joint sponsor as I make more than enough money to support my husband according to the poverty guidelines. I sent them an email in regards to this but have not received any response.

They also asked for proof/evidence asking why my husband came in contact with law enforcement officials in the US in 2012. My husband explained to CO at his interview that he has never been to the US before nor has he ever applied to come to the US before. They took a sworn statement from him verbally at the interview from him but are now still asking for more proof. We sent another documented sworn statement in regards to this as we have no other proof other than his passports which we submitted to them already.

Oh, it sounds like his name/DOB matched someone else that was in the US already! No wonder your AP is lasting longer! Hopefully your husband's passport number doesn't match that other person. If what you gave doesn't work, you may need to try to ask them if they won't accept what you provided. Maybe you can request a police report from that county or city the incident occurred? Then maybe you can prove it's not him somehow?

Our case got an update just now. We were waiting for a week for that to happen! We are hopeful for it to be issued today or tomorrow. The longest fiance case I seen so far in KBL numbers was a week. Ours has hit the week mark today.

I just checked the status of my husbands passport and on the website it says "Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate"

But when I email them it says "Delivered To Post"

Does anyone know what this means?

thank u hammad82.... but I think u didnt get my qestion.... I am saying that I hav submited documnts (ds260, medical, 2 photos)... hey said they will give me date for fingerprint....but embasy hav not updated my case even once after I have sent docmnts and are also not replying to my email even once....did they updated ur case when u sent documnts??? like I am saying did embasy updated ur case or replied email before u recieved call for fingerprint...????????

  how long they took to reply me ?or send me appointment letter for interview /PHYSICAL???

  also do i have to book interviw/or is it embassy gonna schedule me

  also can i pay physical fee directly at AZIZ MEDICAL CENTRE ISLAMABAD

  AND the interview fee at the day of interview at islamabad consulate??

  and if some one has done interview at islamabad consulate ,what s it like, do they give decision on spot??

We sent our fourth email to the embassy two nights ago. I was asking them to explain their last response from August 24th saying we should have been contacted for him to pick up his passport (and that if we hadn't, send them another email, which has not yet been responded to!!).
