My fiance entered into the US 2 weeks ago, and we are preparing the docs to go apply for his Social Security Card. It states we need the passport with the K1 visa (have that sticker in passport  ). It also says to have the I-94... what is that? Is that the little card that is stapled in at POE? Because that's the only thing he got when he entered in Chicago.

Also, if you have any tips of what to bring to SS office, I would be greatful. Thanks :)

Yes the card stapled at the POE is the I-94

We brought his passport with the I-94 it had the temporary work permit on it...that's all they required.

Awesome, thanks for the confirmation!

Did you need a translation of the birth certificate too?

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
