hello everyone! can anyone tell me what are the chances of my daughter becoming a derivative under my K1 petion? the petiotion was filed by our chosen agency, was submitted to the USCIS and approved only to find out that my daughter's name was omitted in the petition paper. she's already 17, although we all have decided not to have her join with us in the U.S., i still want her to have a visa as my k1 derivative.i hope i can still do something about this as my interview date is on April 19, 2007.

thank you all for your response. :help:

I'd try calling the Embassy and asking if her name could be included. remember, a K-2 has to be issued within one year of the date the K-1 was issued. you know how long it can take for an interview in Manila, so plan in advance. After one year, you would have to start from scratch by filing a I-130.
