An NVC operator just told me my case was completed on 19June2015. Does anyone know if NVC ships completed cases immediately or waits till embassies schedule the interview? Thanks.

Check my timeline, it was sent two days later. The embassy got it I think 3 days after that. It may not be immediately but not more than 2 or 3 days. They aren't going to send a single petition by itself, it's not effective and wasteful, they will send it in bulk. Even that being said enough petitions are processed that I have seen any take more than the timeframe I stated for it to be sent. I cant be tracked on the CEAC site.

For CR1 cases it takes a bit longer to get shipped. First they have to schedule the interview with the US Embassy in lagos. Once that's done they will ship your file. It's taking about 30 days from case complete to appointment letter. K1 cases get sent over quicker since interviews are scheduled by the Petitioner/beneficiary after case complete etc

They keep telling me, your file will be there in plenty of time. Typically, they give the CO 30 days to review from all the posted I've read. This is insane.. I'm so worried, I'm up all night... I have my faith however as a human I worry and becoming very anxious...

Depends on the country; after IR\CR1 case complete...

EITHER a few days for NVC to schedule the interview in conjunction with the Consulate, then ship the file;

OR after cc, NVC physically sends the file within a couple of weeks, then Consulate schedules the interview.

Received notice via e mail that NVC "received all of the information necessary and will be notified of interview time"...in Lagos. I assume this means this part is approved and we wait for the interview to be scheduled? I was wondering too, will I be notified when the information gets from NVC to the Embassy? From what I am seeing, once it is there, the interview is usually scheduled for IR1 cases within about 4-6 weeks. Is that correct? So many questions! lol

Oh I didn't know you already got a "case complete" email. Now, you only have to wait till they schedule your interview. Once they do that, they will mail your case documents to Lagos. NVC will send you an email including the interview appointment letter as an attachment. They usually schedule interviews within 4 - 6 weeks like you mentioned but there are incredibly slow these days. There are people who have been waiting for interview since June 16 (I'm talking about Lagos Consulate here). Almost there...hang on!
