We got our second interview on the 3/30/15. About a month and half. Uscis got it about6/4/15. Just waiting for them to tell me what to send back. I was thinking bout withdrawing the petition and doing a new one but my friends just wait. I talked to the DOS they said i could withdraw and get more evidence but it could go through the same cycle.

To get a snowballs chance in hell speaking to the consulate section chief the petitioner must try, not the beneficiary.

They will not speak to the benficiary.

Sometimes it helps to go through the USC part of the embassy ( sometimes a different entrance) and request firmly but kindly and with confidence to speak with someone from the consular section, from there you work yourself up to whoever you want to speak to.

Not all consulates are so 'accommodating' but with the right kind of 'assertion' some are successful. I was, though not in Ghana, it was at 2 other

consulates. I wasn't going to take no for an answer but was not belligerent either, it's a fine line.

I had little chit chats with 2 section chiefs during our 5 year drama. It didn't result in approval but gave me more material to write up a nice little

narration with my many complaints of how we were treated, what nonsense we were told and I included all of it with the re filing of the

second K1 petition and it was immensely satisfying for me to make a point out of principle.

I envisioned the USCIS adjudicator shaking his head over yet another crazy CO story.

Second time around we had a CO with brains who treated us kindly, yet firmly sought out all he wanted

to know with a stokes interview over the phone hours after my then fiance was interviewed. The phone rang, I was in a deep sleep, out of my head

and half asleep managed to answer all his questions to his satisfaction. I almost didn't answer the phone.
Two days later he approved us.

My point is that there is no reason for these 'gone rogue' interviewers to cop an attitude but they can weed out fraud in an intelligent manner and yet

treat USC and their spouses/fiances with respect and dignity like they are supposed to according to their web sites.

Until you all complain -complain- complain to your senators and congressmen nothing will change.
Ghana has surpassed Nigeria in craziness and takes the trophy for worst consulate attitude and interview technique.

DR and Nigeria may be the 2. and 3. winner. India trails a close 4 :) just my observations.

How did you do a bank account together? They wouldn't let me, so my next trip I will apply for citizenship so that we can do those things in Ghana

I've seen one post on here, and she lied about having an appointment but was successful in speaking with the head co and he approved them, but that's the only post I every seen from Ghana that made it that way

Update on my case.

If you guys remember, I contacted my senator the same day my wife's visa was denied. I sent him an email describing everything that took place during the interview along with most of the evidence myself wife took. His office then forwarded my email to the chief consulate in accra.

1. The chief consulate review my case and stopped the case from being sent back to the U.s.

2. It was placed on administrative processing.

3. 2 days ago I got an email which stated that the case is being investigated and should be completed in the near future.

4. They said after the review is completed they will call my wife to come back to the embassy.

So my case went from being put in the mail to go back to the u.s, to my wife being called to come back to the embassy.

When I got the news that my wife was denied I had a calculus-2 exam that day. I was completely depressed and couldn't even focus on the exam. I just knew I had to take action and can't just sit around and be sad. I honestly did not believe anything would come out of contacting my senator, I was just sad and needed to do something. And thank God I did. I thank God I did. Even if they just call her to bring more evidence at least this time she will take two luggage bags of evidence. It's much better than the alternative.

That's some good news then !

Maybe they will be finished by Monday or Tuesday, with a call in later in the month.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

If this is the so called 'blonde CO in Ghana' who denies everyone indiscriminantly, then I am pleading with this community to help us do something about it. Someone posted the same exact situation a couple of weeks ago and so it seems that she's just up to something at the embassy. This is unfair to many who have waited sometimes for years to get to that point, only to get an undetailed simple denial and snarky response. This is unfair, rude and unprofessional of her and something must be done about it!!!! I'm so upset that you went through this bro. Smh the other person also had two kids and similar evidence. I'm so sickened by her alleged attitude and professionalism!

Hi I'm going through the same process. My wife and i have submitted everything under the sun to prove our union is genuine, plus we have a 14yr old son who's deeply affected by this,my wife and son are obliged to visit me in december due to this 221g denial. I strongly suggest we use radio as a medium to make our cases heard, bcos 85% of ghanaians use it as a source of information. Lets come together and root this KM CO from our country and get the justice we due,all the best and spread the message along pls,Radio is the way to go!!

Hi am joining your facebook page right away and i commend you on a good job.I also want to suggest we get on radio stations in Ghana and make some noise about this treatment.Joy Fm,Adom FM,Peace FM,Star Fm will be a good platform. And you're right Nigeria is getting a lot of approvals suddenly now,a country that has the highest level of fraudulent cases worldwide,no offense to my brothers from there. Keep up the good work, stay blessed

Hmmm has anyone email the embassy an ask why is it so many denials in ghana i think we all should let them know that more one person has notice. I think it should brought to the attention of the government since we pay taxes and have paid for the services.
