Hello everyone,I am just about submitting my forms for my AOS and on the G-325A form(biographic information),in the first line of information,the file number is required.Pleaase how do I find it if is required or should I ignore it?

You would find that file number A########## on your NOA2 of the K1 application.

Dec 29, 06 - MARRIED!!

Jan 8, 07 - filed for AOS and EAD

Apr 3, 07 - EAD approved!!!

Apr 7, 07 - EAD card arrived!

May 10, 07 - Interview....APPROVED!!!

May 23, 07 - GC in hand

Feb 10, 09 - I-751 sent to CSC

Feb 12, 09 - NOA1

Apr 20, 09 - Approved!

Jun 12, 09 - Card Production Ordered

Jun 19, 09 - 10 year GC Received

You would find that file number A########## on your NOA2 of the K1 application.

Do you mean the receipt number on the NOA2?

Your A# appears above the beneficiary's name on the NOA2... it's often on the NOA1 as well. It's NOT the receipt number. This is the alien registration number.

Yea,am really getting confused about that.There are a bunch of numbers which is a very confusing.What about Alien number?may be other peolple that have already filed their AOS will help me out.Thanks in advance

The A# ( also known as the Alien Registration number) is found on the NOA2....the I-94 and sometimes on the K1 visa itself.

It starts with "A"....looks like A *********

and just for future reference....

The non immigrant visa number is the red number on the visa and the I-94 number is the printed number on top of the I-94 card.

1/22/07 EAD card received

6/13/07 Transferred back to Missouri....grrrrrrr

7/23/07 Interview date! FINALLY!

7/23/07 AOS APPROVED!!! :o) 10 yr Greencard I 551 stamp in passport.

7/28/07 Welcome letter received

7/28/07 Card production ordered.

8/1/07 Approval notice senT

8/3/07 Greencards received in mail!
