From people who have recently been there, is it true that there is a passport photo booth inside the US embassy?

Just want to get another set done just incase, have time in London before though, and know there's plenty around there.

Over the years I have read the UK forum, it is often reported OUT OF ORDER. I wouldn't trust it. Do you not have one US size photo? Does it look like you?

Yeah, but was thinking about getting more just incase. I know there's lots around the embassy who do US passport photos anyway, so it's not much of a worry.

and my interview isn't till 1, after arriving at 10 am, so at least it will be something to do!

Ended up getting the correct size passport photos at a local passport photo booth. Called "Photo Me" quick and easy US passport photo!

Hi BryterMoon! Whereabouts was that passport photo booth? I need to get a photograph too and there's virtually nowhere that does it where I live - last place I went to did it wrong as well! May as well just get it done in London.

There is a photo booth inside the embassy near the toilets...kind of in a hallway. But if it's out of order, then you have to leave and deal with getting back in. Go to Gould's Pharmacy near the embassy. Or one of the places near the Bond Street tube station.

Pretty sure most large Tesco's have a photo booth that can do US passport size photos. Seen one in the Tesco's near me tiny store in the north of England. Keep your eyes peeled for them as at the bottom of the machines graphics its has a US and Aus flag on it.

Hi

Did you cut the photos yourself?

This thread is from 2015. Old information.

You only need one photo for your interview. Cut them.
