Hi all,

Im just about to request for my police record from New Zealand as I have my interview here in Australia (Sydney) and it asks me whether I would like my records mailed or emailed to me.

What option is best?

Thanks so much.

You posted in the middle of the night US time, on a weekend; I suggest giving it at least 48 hours for answers before starting to worry you are not getting any :)

I would recommend asking for a mailed copy- it looks more official, plus being an original, there will definitely be no need to have it notarised.

Thanks Penguin! :)

Do you know if I would need to provide a police certificate from the USA too ?

As I lived there for a year on a J1 exchange visa in 2013-2014.

As I said to you in the other thread you made:

"No, you're not required to get a police certificate from the US. I was there on J1 and F1 and I even asked the embassy and they said no. You only need police certificate from Australia and any other country apart from the US that you've lived in for an extended time."
