guys i have a question.just got approved 2 days ago and i cant get over it!finally! :) my question is when can i schedule his interview?? do i have to pay the visa first ryt?and then schedule the medical?or is it a walk in clinic??

thank u guys!! :)

and im worried about my income i only got 22k last year.no dependent tho.u think this is ok?? or do i need a co sponsor?

salamat poooo?

All your questions can be answered here in my step by step K-1 visa guide. This is the next step.

1. Wait 2 weeks and start calling NVC to get your MNL#.

2. Then email them to get the confirmation with MNL# it in writing.

3. Pay your visa interview fee

4. Complete your DS 160

5. Schedule your interview appt.

6. Schedule your medical within the recommended 7-10 business days of your appointment.

7. Do your CFO after you get your visa to same you an extra trip back to CFO to get the sticker

8. No co-sponsor needed for a family of two. Income requirement is $19,200. Your above that no problems.

All of these questions, and believe me you will have more, are answered in my guide. Follow the link above for the "next step". Return here if something is fussy and ask your questions. Great bunch of people to help. Remember to start your own post so you get the benefit of all the experts as some of us don't look at a thread like this one especially when everyone is either chit chatting or waiting for something to happen and they are posting updates hourly or daily.

Hello to everyone! Can i ask? My dad went to his interview June 17. And he passed it. Up until now we still didn't receive any delivery from 2Go and i checked his visa status on CEAC and it says Administrative Processing. What we need to do? Thank you!

Have lots of patience because this is where it can get you stressed out. Here's what happens when you are in AP. BTW, all of this and more is contained at my website for the K-1 processing.

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. Your mileage may vary.

From http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/general/administrative-processing-information.html

__________________________

The visa processing steps after visa interview are as follows:

The first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

The first READY is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

The second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

The second READY is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Upon the second READY, it will be sent out within a few days.

Of course when you see ISSUED, you can start yelling and screaming and just jumping around as your visa has left the building and on its way to you. Start tracking your visa at 2go below are the instructions. Check with your local 2go office as sometimes it will be there and no one has called or text you yet.

No one can tell anyone when they will get there visa. There has been some who received in two days and others more than three months. Yes, normal delivery is around 3 weeks if the sun, moon and mars are lined up so don’t run out and buy any airline tickets till your visa is in your hands.

My dad too. It's taking too long. But for us it's fine cause i'm still waiting for my sputum culture result. Hope to have a negative result, and Godbless us and hoping to have our visa soon. And for me hope to have a negative result, keep praying. God is good. He will hear our prayers.
