IMO, anyone that hates enough to kill like this is a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic. A normal person does not do this.

I blame the parents,

as

it's the parents that are responsible for most imprinting.. most.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Can you really mow down a church full of innocent people and not be mentally ill

Yes he was racist but that does not turn you into a mass murder. Lots of racist people of all races that don't do this.

This is like saying Ted Bundy did WHT he did because he was horny

My point exactly However mowing down a church full of innocent people might nudge you into that column

I'm not saying that he acted as a normal person would. I'm saying you cannot blame his actions on mental illness. Racism isn't a mental illness and every murderer is not mentally ill. Some people are filled with hate and some people act on that hate.

why not blame the murderer?

Too easy. Plus, he's white. There's GOTTA just be something wrong with him.

i'm going to guess that what's wrong with him is he is a murderer. i'm sure there are more layers to him than that, but i can't really wrap my head around the fact that he sat with the people he killed for an hour and still decided to go through with it.
