Hey anyone know how to reach a real person at the Bridgetown embassy, no reply from email and their numbers just direct me to use the email service -_-.

Also anyone know the consulate specific contents of their packet 3? The portal on VJ seems to be a bit dated.

I was never able to contact them via phone if I called, any contact via phone was them calling me. However, when sending them emails, I usually got a response in less than 24 hours. Did you sent the email to - BridgetownIV@state.gov ?

Could you give us an update on the process after NVC sends your petition to Bridgetown Embassy?

I know you had issues with contacting the embassy. How did you eventually make contact? What steps and documents were needed for the initial instance?

i don't know if this Virginia number is just the U.S. transfer number, but it was listed on the BGN embssy site: (703) 988-5710. i've spoken with people there before.

June 26, 2015/9pm: received text/email that I-129F was approved--took 5 months/2 weeks/3 days

7Jan15: received notification via email and text of receipt at TSC
9Jan15: date of receipt on official NOA1 I-797 form that was mailed back from TSC
26Jun15/9pm: received text/email that I-129F was approved--took 5 months/2 weeks/3 days
3Jul15: received official NOA2 approval letter that said it was sent to NVC on 2Jul15
10Jul15: NVC received, created case number, and put into their system (at least that's what i was told on 17Jul15)
called NVC on July 17, 24 and will call Aug 7--STILL IN Administrative Processing
4Aug15 - checked CEAC site; finally "In Transit" (!!!)
7Aug15 - CEAC site says "Ready at Embassy (BGN)"

13Aug15 - BGN won't respond to 12Aug15 email; resent email asking for help with my 3 questions on how to proceed since they don't/won't answer questions via phone; signed Visa Interview Request letter DHLed to BGN

4am 17aug15 - emailed embassy with .pdf proof of 14aug15 BGN receipt of signed interview request letter and made request for an interview date and time

The number which the Barbados Embassy contacted me from is 1-246-227-4000. Also it seem when calling the general number it is better to call in the afternoon as during the morning time is when they are conducting immigrant and non-immigrant interview.

Thank you for the information.

I am just wondering in regards to the initial contact (getting Package 3 for the K1 Visa process)

- if we have to contact the Embassy when we confirm that the information was sent from NVC or

- if the Embassy get in contact with you via email, phone, or snail mail.

I just wanted to confirm because I work on a Project in Barbados so it would save time if I could coordinate receving in the Package in Barbados rather than Antigua.

I am not familiar with the K1 visa, hopefully someone can help you.

How long will you be working in Barbados? From my experience when I moved to Barbados I requested that my petition location be change to here and sent the relevant document(s) via email to the nvc showing that I was legally residing in Barbados so my package was sent here and interview was done here.

Proof of legally residing included submitting one of the following:

Possible proof of eligibility includes a copy of one of the following
documents:

Birth certificate
Valid unexpired passport
Identity card
Landed immigrant paperwork
Valid work visa
Refugee paperwork

The email was sent to NVCInquiry@state.gov
