mmmmm, I wonder if car thieves know this little trick?? :blink:

Yeah...I was wondering the same thing, actually. If this does work (and I'm not saying it does; it was, after all, on YouTube), then anyone, including potential car thieves could see and put it to illegal use. Of course, many cars nowadays have microchips in them and the keys themselves, and refuse to start unless the key with the microchip is inserted and turned into the car itself. So even if a car thief did open the car door, the car would be virtually useless to the thief as hot-wiring it would be pretty damn tough. It could be done given enough time and energy, I suppose, but most thiefs aren't willing to put that much work into their targets, especially not if means hanging around and possibly getting caught.

HMMMM, today I drove 20 min into town to go to a white sale....picked up the towels bedding etc....drove all the way home to realize I forgot a bag, with the towels, exactly what I went there for in the first place. So I called, feeling dumb, and will pick them up tomorrow. I actually thought about not going back, eating the 17 bucks, forgot a bag, that's dumb too. So cheer up little things like this happen all the time. (I'm not telling my husband tho.)

Lets face it, if you have a car that a thief really wants, they're gonna take it with or without a tennis ball, it happens everyday..

If your car isn't worth stealing, you have no concerns..

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Take a tennis ball, put a hole(about the size of the keyhole) in it with a hot screwdriver or knife. Place the hole in the tennis ball against the keyhole of the car and press the air out of the tennis ball the lock will open...note: it only works with electronic locks...

There you have it...

Oh I've done that.

The stupidest thing I did lately though was last week when I bought a pc printer ink refill kit.

I came home right away to refill the empty cartridge and promptly proceeded to drill the hole in the BOTTOM of the cartridge.

:lol::lol: i feel your pain....
