Pinckney’s cousin told WAFF-TV that the gunman specifically asked for the reverend before Bible study and sat next to him before opening fire. The cousin says survivors told her that the gunman told them, “You rape our women and you’re taking over our country. And you have to go.”

He clearly was upset at white women being raped by black men in this country . crimes that have been hushed up for too long in this country. Have we had a national discussion on this ?? No

He's got a bad haircut in the mugshot. Sadly that seems to be enough for many people to classify him as 'not right', as has already been demonstrated in this very thread. To be honest, it's not a new thing and isn't really indicative of the disposable, fast-food style of journalism that goes on in today's world; at least in the UK our level of journalism from many quarters has always been garbage, and people that have the mindset to base their opinions on appearance (regardless of what it's about) always did it, and are always going to do it. It's cheap and easy and convenient.
